Here is a good example of why I love the @NoLayingUp community. This year, we decided to give people a shoe horn as part of our Nest member gift. A lot of people were like “WTF? A shoe horn? Are you fcking kidding me?” But shoe horns have special meaning to me, and I shared a story about my grandfather and the shoehorn I used on my wedding day. The community was like “Not gonna lie, that may have flipped it at the bottom. I am now *in* on shoe horns.” Then Jake, who is currently kicking cancer’s ass, asked if he could write a song using my short story about my grandfather as the framing. And then he did. Long live shoe horns and friends who listen.

@Top100Rick Hey Rick - long time fan of yours. Do you know what club logo is in John Bodenhamer’s hat (via LinkedIn profile)? The coverage this weekend highlighted Bodenhamer’s role with the PGA and the logo doesn’t look like one I’ve seen before.
