We get statements like this every year. If they can do what Modern Warfare 2019 did and create a new chapter for the franchise with a tonal reset that takes a major leap forward both tecnically and visually, I'll eat my hat. I'm just so tired of the yearly release cycle now. Very rarely do we get a truly great Call of Duty game so when it happens, I want to play for years to come, knowing there will be a playerbase to support it! The trend of getting a good game one year and a bad game the next, ceasing support for the previous title entirely - while they fix all the same things they just spent the last year doing has become a running joke at this point.
