@gr__dev Heya, it's been a while, apologies for the delayed response but I don't remember if we ever got saving/loading working correctly. Not sure of a good way to do it at the moment. Glad you're enjoying RLCoop! I should definitely update it one of these days.

As a quick aside, I'm loving the mod so far thank you so much! I much prefer it to the vanilla 227 max difficulty, which is rewarding but not realistic. I think the only thing that detracts from it a little bit is how many keybinds it requires!

@Shivaxi I'm trying to run through RLCoop solo and while I can launch the game using the Singeplayer.bat file and use cmdline to load into different levels fresh I'm unable to save my progress through the campaign and load it later on. Is it possible to save+load? If so, how?

@TeamYouTube It's been 3 weeks. Is there any update on this? I can't upload to my alt channel until this is fixed, since the whole idea of the channel is to utilize the chapter functionality with those types of videos. Without that, there really is no point.

@TeamYouTube It's been 5 months. I lost chapter support at the start of 2024 and have spoken to YouTube Partner support several times who just keep giving me the same run-a-around of "oh it's automatic, we have no control, and we can't tell you why you lost chapters or how to fix it"

@Shivaxi we totally understand your concern & how important this is to you! if your vid was recently uploaded & the video chapters aren't showing, it's best to wait 72 hours for the timestamp to appear. if it doesn't, let us know so we can look into it

From January 9th, with the Winter update, the wood surface will be updated with the following: ➡️ Tracks created before November 21st will have the old concrete wood gameplay. ➡️ Tracks created after November 21st will have the new wood gameplay with grip. Please note that if you edit a track created before November 21st: ➡️ Until the update on January 9th, it will have the new wood gameplay with grip. ➡️ After the update on January 9th, it will have the old concrete wood gameplay. All unbeatable records made on tracks since November 21st will be handled after the January 9th update.

@Trackmania This is not enforceable/detectable, and I don't see why you don't just allow custom action keys for everyone, no matter the input device, or fix aspects of the physics in game so that certain % steering isn't magically faster, in places like no slide dirt or bobsleigh turns, etc.

Dear Trackmania community, Late November, Wirtual highlighted a grey area regarding the use of external tools to set a custom analog profile to have better controls of the SnowCar with his analog keyboard. This is a complex situation, and we would like to clarify what’s allowed or not. As we said back in August 2022 in a long message about custom steering keys and possible game exploits, the Trackmania Code of Conduct prohibits players to use external tools to gain an unfair advantage. We do not consider peripheral software which can be used to calibrate or enhance your device, to be an external tool. We consider it an extension and therefore part of your peripheral of choice. However, using an external tool to readjust a gaming device to set a custom range (limiting the steering range from 0% to less than 100%, for example) is not allowed in Trackmania. This is not considered as a classic peripheral calibration, but as an exploit to gain precision in a specific situation. We know that some top of the range gaming devices offer the possibility to switch the joystick sensitivity curve at any time and this is currently not allowed. It's not part of the Trackmania philosophy to have to equip yourself with the latest cutting-edge tools to be able to perform well. Trackmania must remain an easy to pick up racing game. We are currently working on an “action keys” update to allow players to have better control of their cars and avoid high-end gaming devices being a requirement to perform well in Trackmania. These changes will not go into effect for the Winter 2024 season as we need more time to work on this new feature. In the meantime, limiting the custom range with an external device to something less than 100% at the maximum steering is not allowed. Players using these kinds of techniques will be sanctioned.
