@HairyWrench @LINKArchv Oil wasn't very valuable until things were built that used oil. There is an incentive for large token holders to build applications of value so that people will require their tokens in order to use those apps.

I feel like Chainlink is a good example of the tokens-equity agency debate. Its unclear whether chainlink is acting in the best interest of tokenholders. They'd probably be given the benefit of the doubt if theyre an equity.
I bet if they went public via an IPO and made tokenholders whole, things would change. Kinda worried about the Securitize IPO and what that might do to $LINk

We've already seen countless institutions begin using Chainlink:

• JPM
But this approval by Deloitte may speed things up even more than what we've seen.
Deloitte's completed a SOC2 Type 2 examination on Chainlink CCIP & Data Feeds.
The results revealed that Chainlink is the only data and interoperability oracle platform meeting key institutional security standards:
• SOC 2 Type 2
• SOC 2 Type 1
• ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification
These are essential checkboxes for serious institutions.
In short, they're cyber and data security protocols for things like information security management.
It's not sexy, but it's what enterprises need to begin utilizing Chainlink at full scale.
What we've seen out of Chainlink has already been next level relative to the Web3 space.
