Bought Banganapally Mangos from Patel Brothers in New Jersey. Cost is $35. I know it’s very expensive. But it has the real taste what we eat in AP. 🥭🥭🥭

We are with you.

What I’m seeing with Mythos and Glasswing is far more terrifying than all this immigration chaos right now. This is the kind of stuff that makes you realize the entire system is heading somewhere deeply dark. Truly scary times ahead for everyone.

The new White House policy requiring green card applicants to apply from outside the US is a capricious attack on legal immigration. It will hurt families, leave us with fewer doctors, teachers and scientists, and hurt American competitiveness in AI.

@jackripperr21 Indian-born applicants with PD >2018 can largely ignore this for now, dates unlikely to be current in the near term.

Is this New at @USCIS policy memo legal? Possibly, going forward. Will this policy outlast this administration? No. Is it a stiff arm in the face from @USCISDirector Joe, who is possibly the laziest USCIS Director in history? Yes. Will this memo be challenged in court? Yes. Should you file for adjustment the status today? Talk to your lawyer. Will this memo apply to applications already filed? It should not be because this is a policy change that will certainly be challenged under the APA and should in no circumstance be retroactive. We look forward to the courts deciding. uscis.gov/sites/default/…

So my understanding of this new USCIS memo is that they are signaling Adjustment of Status is no longer something officers should view as routine, even for people on dual-intent visas like H-1B and L-1. It literally says maintaining lawful status in a dual-intent category “is not sufficient, on its own, to warrant a favorable exercise of discretion.” That is massive.

USCIS is applying long-standing law and prior court decisions to require certain aliens with temporary visas who decide they want to permanently reside in the U.S. to return to their home countries to apply for permanent visas through the @StateDept. We're returning to the original intent of the law to ensure aliens navigate our nation’s immigration system properly. Here’s what you should know: uscis.gov/newsroom/news-…

At this point, every other week there’s another PPP scam story with the same playbook and somehow the same crowd 😭 Then people wonder how certain folks magically built massive assets and luxury properties back in India so fast. Yeah… truly a mystery.

Every variant of Monte Carlo Tree Search faces the explore-exploit tradeoff: pick the branch that looks best right now, or test new branches? Algorithms like PUCT, used in AlphaGo, score each move with two competing terms. One is how good a move looks based on your exploration up till now. The other is a novelty bonus that rewards moves you've not visited much. The neat thing is that, over time, the term dominating the overall score shifts automatically. The algorithm hands off from 'explore' to 'exploit' all on its own. @ericjang11 explains how it works:
