Poster of Dev Anand’s shelved movie Dev, Dharam, Dhanraj. This was supposed to be Brij (Sadanah)‘s Magnum Opus. Brij’s Victoria No. 203 was written by K.A.Narayan. Who also wrote Jewel Thief and Johnny Mera Naam. @Bollywoodirect

Happy to see Adithi Rao's Left from the Nameless Shop on this list (finally!). This + Savithri's Special Room & Other Stories by Manu Bhattathiri are two books I've recco'd together so many times. Beautiful glimpses into small-town India for those who know what it's like...

Like something conjured up by Philip Dick+Douglas Adams+Rod Serling+Kubrick on a wild drunken romp, The Anomaly by @HerveLeTellier genre jumps from drama to sci-fi to black comedy to thriller to philosophical riddle & more. Deliriously & deliciously mind-bending .. loved it👌

@ShridharR Same here. Can't e-book at all & definitely not with comics. The Regal & Frew titles you can order directly from Regal itself here: regalpublishers.in

@ShridharR Reprints, but almost all of the Regal titles are from the Tony DePaul era so zero overlap between these and the Indrajals. The australian Frew comics are also strip reprints, from way earlier, from what i've seen most didn't come out from Indrajal.

The Lincoln Highway by @amortowles is an exhilarating romp of a road trip, a true ‘escapade’, with delightful quirky characters reminiscent of Dickens & Twain, x-rayed lovingly & empathically so we get what really makes them tick. It’s 576 pages short, wish it were a 1000 more👏🏽

@timesofindia hi, am a digital subscriber. Your recent design/interface changes have made it increasing frustrating to navigate the paper on IPad, regardless of browser used. Scrolling, enlarging, reading, switching pages.. all very buggy. Please revert to earlier interface 🙏

@b_mathur @AUThackeray @mybmc @IqbalSinghChah2 P ward is sealing entire floor for even one positive case! Please do look into it & pull back as it’s extremely impractical + badly affects students appearing for 10th/12th prelims & essential workers. It makes no sense to do this. Seal only those flats that have a case please.

@AUThackeray @mybmc P Ward issued impractical guidelines for sealing buildings. Quarantining 15-20 healthy people for each +ve case for 14 days. No exceptions for essential workers also. And what about 10th & 12th students, appearing for prelims? Pls look into this. @IqbalSinghChah2

Rahul Rawail’s book on his mentor Raj Kapoor is a delirious and outstanding riot of a read.. part homage, part memoir, part master-class :) If you’re a fan of either director or their work, if you’re a film student or a film lover… you absolutely have to read it :)

Thanks to all who took the time to tune in, and hopefully learned some things of value from the Huberman Lab Podcast in 2021 (our year 1). You can expect more science and science related tools from the HLP in 2022. Happy New Year to all!
