Wow, it's quite an achievement for Canada to have had even lower growth than Germany during the last decade. Germany has done almost everything humanly possible to ruin its economy. How has Canada been able to beat that?

@theyshootactors Canada Post is a crown business. Very different. Comparing the police department to a non essential crown corporation that the government runs for mail is WILD. Christmas cards are not essential. paper mail can all be digital. Packages can be sent via better companies.

@globeandmail LOL $10 billion is nothing when it comes to a country that is 2 trillion in debt and just ran 12 deficits in a row thanks to the Liberals. At least 3 more on the way too. Canada is a terrible place to invest in. Way too much regulation that blocks/delays/taxes projects to death

@BradleyVis They don't care because their side is in power. It's not about what's best for Canadians to them. They also don't understand economics and how 12 years of deficits created all the inflation. It's all Trump's fault to them because CBC told them so.

Why do Liberals insist that Canada is doing well? Yes, we are an amazing country facing challenges, but it’s irresponsible to argue that lower- and middle-class Canadians have seen measurable improvement in their lives in the last year. Canada needs broad-based tax reform to improve our competitiveness first and foremost!

@CTVNews "Judge me by the prices at the grocery store" - Mark Carney. Will the main stream media report on this? By Carney's own words, he has failed.

@fnostro @DefiantLs You're lost. Spacex literally invented reusable rocketships that are now saving NASA (taxpayers) millions of dollars per launch. NASA is 10x more expensive with 10x the timeframe to complete projects.

@Polymarket Canada is doing everything it can to shoot itself in the foot. This will be another massive waste of money that will continue to erode the pockets of Canadians. Imagine thinking the Canadian Government will be able to compete with Elon? The CRA website barely works.. LOL

@CDN_Dimension Absolutely not. They should close up shop like any other business that can't turn a profit. They are terrible at what they do; it's incredibly inefficient, and they failed to adapt like Amazon did. Paper mail can all be digital, and any packages can go through another company.

We should want to take advantage of the post office’s unique, nationwide infrastructure to provide more and better services to Canadians instead of dismantling something that we may never be able to rebuild, writes Paris Marx. canadiandimension.com/articles/view/…

@d_boeckner It's a crown business. It is not a public sector government department like essential services such as police. I guess you forgot that.

@GradyTripp00 @canadapostcorp The difference is Canada Post is a CROWN BUSINESS, meaning it operates like other businesses. It isn't a government agency/department, unlike the other ESSENTIAL services you mentioned. Canada Post is a business, and it is definitely not essential. Waste of tax payer money.

@ColtHavok Ya, it's very difficult with how OP aim assist is. Controller players can lay back and chill and do well, yet mnk has to be LOCKED IN and very skilled to do well. Inputs arent even close to balanced. There's a reason why top250 is all controller players lol

@Jason___YYC It is in fact, a business. It's called a 'Crown Business' and it literally is setup that way to operate AS A BUSINESS that the government owns. It is NOT a government agency/department. And it also is NOT essential.

@SightGames1 @talliwagger They gatekept who could vote. 2000 votes cast. This wasn’t a Conservative Party vote. It was a hand selected crew of sycophants. The CPC can keep running him out and it will just get worse. Canadians won’t suffer a turd nugget like Poilievre as our PM.

It’s one thing to say that you disagree with Pierre’s Poilievre’s policies, it’s quite another to claim that he doesn’t have any. When someone says this I immediately assume that they are extremely partisan and have never actually listened to Pierre speak directly.

A kind of important question we Conservatives need to ask ourselves is: Why did Mark Carney become a Liberal and not a Conservative?

@Napster_Valley @davidportier No, they won't succeed by then. Trudeau was too slow to implement changes, so they pushed Carney in, but the goal without a doubt is to push Canada to join the EU, and then form a one world government where banking, ID and ownership is done through their platform.

@SamHersh01 LOL. Ya ok. It is a guarantee that these government run grocery stores will NOT be cheaper to run than the free market ones. They will require MASSIVE taxes and they will claim MASSIVE losses. Wild how many people live in fantasy land thinking MORE GOVERNMENT will help.

I don't always agree with Councillor Carr but this is a great idea picking up steam across the country. Municipal, publicly-run grocery stores drive down costs and focus on affordable food rather than profit. Glad to see it having potential in Ottawa. ctvnews.ca/ottawa/article…
