Which city/town are you most interested in? I will analyze the most frequently mentioned one.

@OnassisVan @djbelgrado Putin houdt controle over welke bevolkingsgroepen naar het front gaat. Op die manier komen de meeste slachtoffers uit rurale gebieden waar de kans op bonje minimaal is. Als een groot deel van de mannen uit Moskou naar het front gaat en mogelijk omkomt, is dat riskant.

On several sections of the southern front, the Ukrainians advanced 9–9.5 kilometers deep and disrupted the enemy's preparations for the Zaporizhzhia–Orikhiv offensive operation. Over the past week, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have managed, if not completely, then practically to reduce the pace of the Russian offensive to a minimum in the directions of Huliaipole and Zaporizhzhia. @Playfra0 I believe Russian have been geolocated assaulting this trench system already in October 2025. Has this trench system had any value for the defenders since?

According to DeepState data, Russian forces captured a serious Ukrainian 2014 trench system (circled in blue) and have been recorded multiple times while trying to cross the "Line 0.5" defending Mezhova, which is also being crossed at the height of Novopidhorodne. Not a very smart place to start an offensive at, as the area is almost totally open and littered with engineering obstacles, but it might become dangerous if looking at Novopavlivka, which the Russians failed to take from the south and east, and that in the future might be endangered from the northeast and north, with its supply routes under strain.
