I’m a Turk whose grandparents emigrated to Germany in the 70s so I born and grew up as German, but even if not, parts of Türkiye are on the European continent, and Turks shaped European history for 1000 years, like I have 20% south Italian DNA, many Turks have since they ended the Roman empire and conquered Istanbul

Not sure if I have to mention this but when I criticize US politics it doesn’t mean I hate American people. As a European I’m not on any side with democrats or republicans, both are the same in foreign policy. Trump always criticized previous wars, but now started the worst ones.
