Replace Mikey with a car, following the lane markings for the direction they are travelling. The coach driver on the other hand, very silly going into a complex junction either knowingly or unknowingly in the wrong lane and then to cut across two lanes of traffic.

If the police catch you, that’s 6 points and a hefty fine on your license for using an uninsured motor vehicle on the road.

@DickTurpinIII Light changed when the driver was around 35meters from the light. Plenty of time to stop smoothly.

Drug driver fails to stop at red light because they didn’t have enough time to stop. Might have something to do with reduced reaction time?

@SillyMotorists Wouldn’t have made a blind bit of difference here as the police have said the vehicle wasn’t speeding. Why not ask why he was on that side of the road and on the pavement. Your speed limiter won’t stop some drivers going the wrong side of traffic islands like in this case.

The mother and baby are unharmed! How? Sheer luck! Not how much faster it was travelling compared to the other vehicle. Clearly speed is a factor, about time speed limiters were put into all motor vehicles.

@SillyMotorists its not about the speed at all, did you miss the fact the van was driving on the pavement? speed limiter would not have stopped that

@stuart1679 Could be, even more reason to have speed limiters so motor vehicles can’t gain dangerous speeds.

@SillyMotorists Are we sure there wasn’t a medical issue that caused this accident! car has veered off the road and no attempt at braking so could a medical issues such as fainting, heart attack etc caused this! Hopefully not falling asleep or drunk though,
