@liquidhomezim In the face of continuous advancements in satellite internet technology, most notably the Starlink service, Liquid's stagnant internet speeds and lack of innovation pose a significant challenge to its continued success. While Starlink has rapidly progressed to its third generation of satellites and routers, Liquid has remained stagnant in terms of speed improvements for nearly a decade. This lack of progress is particularly concerning given the substantial capacity increase and cost reduction that accompanied the transition from dial-up to ADSL, and subsequently, from ADSL to fiber optics. Liquid's recent capacity upgrade on Equiano and backbone fiber link update, while noteworthy, does not address the fundamental issue of limited speeds. Given that fiber optics offers superior speeds to satellite internet in virtually every country, Liquid's decision to cap speeds is counterintuitive and fails to meet customer expectations.

On the right is the son of two Zimbabwean cabinet ministers publicly selling @Starlink, it will cost me US$52.99 per month using a @Starlink kit bought in Rwanda, Zambia or Nigeria on regional roaming. What do you think a normal me should do? The @SADC_News head of its election observer team in Zimbabwe, Nevers Mumba has said that if an election process is flawed, then the election result is illegitimate. However the leader of Zimbabwe’s main opposition party CCC, Nelson Chamisa is demanding that the election result from Zimbabwe’s shambolic election be changed in his favour. Chamisa said that he has the evidence that proves he won the election against the declared winner, President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
