@RomyCerratti @paul_bowt Oh, I can tell you this for certain. I have a very good friend who is a consultant. He tells me he could get his 14 week waiting list down to 2 weeks and keep it there. The management *will not let him*. He is so disillusioned with the NHS, I fear he’s going to quit.

@MatthewStadlen The last 8 years of that has been totally consumed with Brexit, and then a global pandemic, whilst having undergone an unprecedented onslaught from the MSM. Government has been pretty much paralyzed by those three things alone, so it’s no wonder so much has slipped.

During 12 years of Tory-led government can you think of a single public or government service which has improved? The NHS? The care system? The courts? The police? The military? Passports? Driving licences?

@Beany_1 @rlmumford Actually Liam Byrne admitted the fact in his candid article in the guardian. He was putting together a program of £32bn of cuts, as set out in the Labour 2010 manifesto, as an attempt to cut the deficit when they got booted out of office. I’m afraid austerity was Labour’s idea.
