@BuenoForMiami Most of those 8 million people already don’t pay taxes. 50% of this country pays less than 3% of all income tax. The top 5% of earners pay over 60% of all taxes. We need equality. The bottom 50% needs to pay their fair share.

If those 8 million people stopped paying taxes…. they’d probably make a much bigger impact. Politicians don’t care about protests unless it actually affects them. If you want to be effective - you need to know what will actually move the needle. 🪡

The same people driving on rebuilt roads, drinking clean water, living the comeback... are out here protesting the man who made most of it happen. JUST GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!! billionaires already pay ungodly amounts of money in taxes already: the issue in this country was never revenue but spending. The income tax, which was originally for incomes over 1 million dollars, was meant to replace the tariff and excise tax system entirely -- or at least thats what they said back then. and the fact is now, billionaires still have methods to escape taxation that are impractical for middle America, and the federal government takes anywhere up to 30% of your earnings. which is already FAR higher than the ORIGINAL meant for those MILLIONAIRES. its a method of surveillance and control. it keeps this country docile and dependent on the government.

I'm a big fan of the idea that once you hit a billion dollars, you get a plaque in a park saying that you won at capitalism and everything you make over a billion is taxed at 100%
