@sourpatchlyds I vote for more context and exposition for this poll. I also vote for a "just see the results" option for those of us who can't decide, and also for polls with multiple questions so that we can vote for "save woman/child" and "I am a man/woman" separately.

I'd really like to hear the arguments for both. Your hypothetical: A married father is in a position to save EITHER the wife and mother OR the child/children. Which should it be, and why?

@politicalmath @odysseymovie I rewatched Tomorrow Never Dies on Netflix, and after paying close attention to the movie, I understood why it didn't engross me like the other Brosnan bond films. Editing mistakes. Even if you don't consciously notice them, your subconscious does.

It is totally normal for big natural breasts to flatten when lying down, you do not have to edit them to look big just to please gooners. Same with tummy, own that shit. Don’t edit it. You don’t need to edit out stretch marks either. There are so many people who love and appreciate the reality of women’s beautiful bodies.

@xevekiah I'm just glad that this argument has been relegated to the "unpopular opinion" bin instead of the "mandatory belief if you want to keep your job" category.

ABORTION should be made legal only in circumstances where it is GENUINELY NECESSARY, particularly in cases where a woman becomes pregnant and does not wish to continue with the pregnancy. In such situations, the law should allow her the option to make a decision about her OWN BODY AND FUTURE, rather than requiring her to carry a pregnancy she does not want especially when the pregnancy is UNWANTED and the choice is PERSONAL AND LIFE-CHANGING.
Kia 🧸ྀི@xevekiah

what unpopular opinion about ABORTION can put you in this position???

@Flaw_Eye @hell_line0 I'd make that woman breakfast in bed every day to keep her comfortable.

@SlideGlideNRide @hell_line0 If you still side with the husband then you did NOT understand their argument. The woman was in constant pain and it really bothered her, so she got rid of a part of her chest. However, he was against it ONLY for the aesthetic, not because he understood or had sympathy for her.

Patient: My back hurts so much, I really want to be a B cup after this reduction Husband: I’ve told her she doesn’t need a reduction Plastic surgeon: Look at the red marks on her shoulders from her bra straps digging in. That looks painful. Patient: I have to wear 3 sports bras when I run, I’ve stopped exercising completely. Husband: She really doesn’t need a reduction Patient (to husband): Go wait in the waiting room And yes, she got what she wanted and also got rid of a total boob 👏🏽

@lisavsworld That dude has been alive for 80 years. That's how long it takes to master the art of conversation. But only if you weren't raised in the internet era.

A man just walked up to me at the gym and started a conversation. He was charismatic, charming, and not awkward at all. We talked for 5 minutes. He walked up to me with a joke and I laughed (cause it was funny). He made some small talk about the weather before veering into some real conversation. He asked me personal questions without being invasive, gave me enough info to learn a little about him as well, and it was a fun, genuine, and energizing interaction. He even said something about me being a 20 something and I had to be like, no sir I am 36. He feigned disbelief to be nice. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. 100% would recommend. Important note: he was also probably about 80 years old. But really guys, it is that easy to talk to a girl. Even just to talk.

@ambrosecarol2 @_bumper @SerpentOTNight @JustAnothrAcct @memeticsisyphus Is it really okay to kill someone and save 5 people, as long as the victim is tied helplessly on trolley tracks? Does untying him change the moral calculus? It sounds like you're creating artificial, incoherent categories to rationalize a difference between the two scenarios.

@_bumper @SerpentOTNight @JustAnothrAcct @ambrosecarol2 @memeticsisyphus It's the same scenario, except that the bridge replaces the lever, and the death from falling off a bridge replaces the death from being tied alone on a separate track. The comparison between the two scenarios is a beacon for mental, cognitive, and emotional self-reflection.
