I have reflected & wanted to apologize for posts during the recent Israel/Hamas fighting that suggested Israel is committing “genocide”. It’s not accurate, it’s inflammatory, disrespectful & is being used to justify antisemitism here & abroad. Now is the time to avoid hyperbole.

@JWaltrousMD @sacjai I get your sentiment, J. That said, I have worked with plenty of non-clinicians that are amazing people. Folks like @pcemigh and @jordancoleman31. Orgs need to do a better job selecting the right people across the board, regardless of degree/training.

This is why representation matters.
When I was a resident, a shining new tower was built that failed to include call rooms for residents.
(They converted supply closets).
Many admin don’t understand that residents work 80+ hours a week in service of patients.
