The Government just spent £650,000 of your tax money on a "Basic Farming" course. Here is the proof. If you hired a builder to fix your roof, and then found a receipt showing he spent your deposit on a course called "How to Use a Ladder," you would sack him immediately. Well, the government department responsible for UK food security just did exactly that. In this video, I am exposing Contract C27616. It shows that the people writing the laws on British farming are spending nearly three-quarters of a million pounds of taxpayer money to teach their staff... what a cow is. They are paying consultants to explain "Soils," "Crops," and "Livestock" to the very people who regulate them. This isn't just a waste of money. It is proof that the people in charge have no idea how your food is produced. And you are paying the bill. Want real meat? @flameosumeet Its a sham, the way its all been presented is so shallow and corrupt. Just defining the Trump era. No one wants it to fail because its the US, there was serious anger over Russia and Qatar hosting it too.

My thoughts on this World Cup are that Europeans are desperate for it to fail, for whatever reason (insecurity?) They also don't seem to realize that two other countries are also hosting, and none of the countries involved have any say over ticket prices...go ask FIFA why they're jacking up the prices

AOC on Venezuela: "it is not a remark on who maduro was as a leader he cancelled elections he was an anti democratic leader that doesn't mean that we can kidnap ahead of state and engage in acts of war just because the nation is below the equator."

That's Neto centrally, even with Delap providing non-existent link up all game (except for the assist there.) You want him and Garnacho in the half-spaces, close to a CF who can get them touches in that zone.
CFC Central@CFCCentral3

Really like that Rosenior has allowed Neto to occupy the central space and Estevão to stay wide instead of vice versa (the way Maresca used them.) The speed with which Rosenior identifies the right role for his players is very encouraging.

My take on Liam Rosenior so far is that tactically, he, at minimum, is not a downgrade on Maresca and is much better than him at Emotional Intelligence stuff.

@JoeWStanley @paulpowlesland If I could get a resident beaver to restore nature on our farm for free then I’d be delighted. I’ve got a hedgerow to coppice and another one to plant. I’m not sure I could trust them to meet the RPA specs, though.

For context: access to post-Brexit support schemes in England to support nature friendly farming across 70% of our land area have been suspended for 11 months and counting.
Defra UK@DefraGovUK

Beavers bring extraordinary environmental benefits.🦫 Yesterday, @MaryCreagh_ joined @NaturalEngland, @nationaltrust and partners to witness the wild #beaver release in Somerset. Their gradual, well-planned reintroduction is vital to our mission to protect and restore nature.

@Slug_95 @ag_recruiter @JoeWStanley My issue with it is, as has happened for the last few years. The DEFRA bubble go to the places that fit the world they want. But that’s just my opinion.

@HighFarndale Yeah im not so dismissive as some are about it. We cant install farming people in as they are all working on the land so why not educate those who are already there

@Slug_95 It appears DEFRA employs c23,500 people, across various departments e.g. Natural England. The DEFRA head office is c3,500. It’d be interesting to see how many would take part and what that would entail.

Farmers moaning again. I do wonder what £650k actually buys here and what budget it comes from… I had Environment Agency office staff here one time; they helped build a dam. Two younger folk were cartographers; neither could cut timber with a handsaw, so I taught them. One of them was vegan. They all got something from listening to me describe the regenerative grazing system and how it contributes to their work.
Bernie@Artemisfornow

Forgive me if I’m missing something here. But when I run businesses I put people in roles who know what they are doing, understand the subject matter and fit their job description. How is it even possible that DEFRA needs to spend £650,000 of taxpayers money teaching their staff what a bloody farm is? Run by morons. Actual morons.
