@wfc4moi They used a jammer on my door cam. Got them on video by the cat flap trying to open the door. They got in the conservatory, stole every key and got out the way they came

We've got solar panels and when there's not enough power being generated to cover usage of big appliances I like to pretend I'm a star ship captain by turning stuff off from non essential systems. I issue commands like divert power from lights to tumble dryer.

@tbaud1 @EverySmartHome Have you considered, from a security perspective, how easy it is to cut the internet from your house? Cellular backup at the price it is, is pretty much a no brainer for anyone that wants an always available smart home. I'd probably recommend a router fallback rather than a phone

@Mr_Dave_Haslam This is terrible news. You're lucky to have such a good mug shot but that won't bring back the equipment. Please consider upgrading your cameras to person detection ones and get alerts to your phone, so maybe you could have stopped this before it's too late. DM me for more info.

@DJGaryBaldy @AndyBurnhamGM That's probably 5ghz WiFi you've turned off, different to 5G cellular broadband. The only reason smart devices would struggle with 5ghz WiFi is during pairing and your phone is connected to it and they can't. 5Ghz is fast, don't turn it off! Get in touch if you want some help 🙂

Another BIG manufacturer pulls support for their devices, creating e-waste and excusing it in the name of focusing on net zero 😮 The audacity! 🙈 We can replace your @HiveHomeUK devices for a system that will work for as long as the silicone inside works!

Whilst installing lots of TV's for @currys one the many insights, is the amount of expanded polystyrene waste generated by consumer electronics. Not commonly recycled in the UK, it was refreshing to see a @SharpHomeUK TV with a more #ecofriendly approach! #plasticwaste
