Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood, 68, is to stand trial next year accused of raping and sexually assaulting seven women. He faces 4 counts of rape, 9 counts of indecent assault and 2 sexual assaults spanning from 1983 to 2016. Some of the alleged attacks happened inside BBC Studios in London during the 1990s. The veteran rap and grime presenter strongly denies all the charges and is currently on bail. Six-week trial scheduled to start January 2027.
