دیروز روز یادبود سربازان کشته شده اسرائیلی در ۷۸ سال گذشته بود. بسیاری از ما در جامعه ایرانی یاد سرباز اسرائیلی شیرل هیمپور را که اصالتاً ایرانی بود و در حمله اکتبر ۲۰۲۳ توسط تروریست‌های حماس کشته شد، گرامی می‌داریم. روحش شاد.🕯️💔

امروز اسرائیل ۷۸ سالگی استقلال خود را جشن می‌گیرد. وقتی گفته می‌شود «اسرائیل ۷۸ ساله و ۳۰۰۰ ساله است»، منظور این است که این کشور در شکل مدرنش از سال ۱۹۴۸ تأسیس شده و یک دولت نسبتاً جوان به حساب می‌آید، اما ریشه‌های تاریخی، فرهنگی و هویتی آن به هزاران سال قبل برمی‌گردد. نام، زبان، سنت‌ها و پیوند مردم با این سرزمین، قدمتی طولانی دارند و در طول قرن‌ها حفظ شده‌اند. به همین دلیل، اسرائیل هم‌زمان نماد یک ملت باستانی و یک کشور مدرن است؛ جایی که گذشته و حال در کنار هم معنا پیدا می‌کنند.

Dear Mark, It is an important point, but first, Iranians need free internet access. Arming Iranians under HRH Reza Pahlavi's leadership, plus free internet access and aerial support. That is the only viable solution, and we Iranians can fight our war. We require some assistance in balancing the battlefield. The other side is a criminal regime that is armed and supported by China, Russia, and terrorist foreign millitias.

ARM THE IRANIAN PEOPLE ... IMHO, the people of Iran need to be armed.  Even if there are divisions among various opposition groups.  We cannot defeat the regime, which has demonstrated time and again it must be defeated, without the people within Iran having a fighting chance to destroy the regime from within.  I am not sure what the hesitancy is.  If arms were stolen, by whom and for what?  Regardless, it is the most direct way to take down the regime.  As I've pointed out before, President Reagan used this as part of his doctrine against the Soviet Union -- in Afghanistan, Angola, Nicaragua, etc.
