@RebeccFung @SDDonovan I totally understand that. That make sense. Anyways do you have a beta reader already or you are just seeking for one?

@SDDonovan I'm not strict about it as I edit as I go. I've made diff versions but I don't have a consistent rule about when to start new ones. However if I send a copy out to someone eg beta reader, editor, I keep a copy of that version, even if I make changes later.

Just a question out of curiosity. What do you consider a "draft"? For me if I read through, strengthen sentences and stuff, I consider it a new draft. Major changes I'd go do in a new one, and so on. I wonder what's your process for drafting?

*whispers* would anyone be open to a historical fiction beta read? It's an old and dusty project I wrote during covid. I'm shaking off the cover, it just got it back from a stint with an editor.
