Weird stuff men do that make me not trust them around kids: -Boundary testing, like seeing if they can (even briefly) get alone with the kid for random reasons -Taking a special interest in a specific kid, esp. trying to hang out with them (most normal men are only casually interested in other people's kids, it's a little weird when they're singling one out) -Doing age-inappropriate stuff like tickling or having a kid on their lap who's 12 years old -Seeking connection with kids who are pulling back or hesitating, kids often pick up the vibe earlier than adults -Bringing up topics like "Do you have a boyfriend? Do you make out with him yet?" or making sexual jokes to kids -Making comments about their body, clothes, etc. in a weird way -These guys also tend to be a little shy or shifty around fathers, lack of eye contact, things like that Idk it's reallyyyy something that needs to be observed over time though because it's often a mosaic of a ton of tiny little signals more than one big one, and some of these things can be mistakes or harmless in isolation But this is why I think you should get to know people for a while before letting your kids sleep at their houses!

At my son’s Alabama middle school, no one can use the water fountains bc the water from the pipes makes it undrinkable. The boys bathroom has one working stall and there’s no lock. The staff are truly wonderful people who care, however the republicans in power do not.
