Announcing a partnership between Reppo and UsePod UsePod is now Reppo's default routing layer for Venice models. Anyone using Venice's SDK routes through UsePod for discounted inference, and anyone can use this same infrastructure to publish agent-generated outputs directly to Reppo datanets. @reppo is a decentralized network for sourcing, curating, and monetizing AI training data. Organized into owner-defined datanets, it turns training data into a live market where participants publish content, stake capital, vote on quality, and generate usable learning signal. UsePod.ai is a two-sided marketplace for AI inference where crypto token holders monetize daily credit allocations, hardware providers compete on price, and users access frontier models at 40-50% below market rates. Reppo creates market infrastructure for training data. UsePod creates market infrastructure for inference. By integrating routing and enabling seamless publishing to datanets, we're building the full stack--training data markets feeding inference markets, both operating with real price discovery, both settled onchain, both treating AI resources as tradable instruments instead of subsidized services.

Got connected to @0xgilbert and was impressed by usepod and the realtime inference price discovery mechanics, something we have been iterating on @reppo for a while at the training data layer I think inference futures market on chain are a net new unlock allows markets to remain composable Like Lego for data and compute Also cool to see their on chain subscription model where you can even sell your unused openai or claude sub credits. It’s already live on reppo.ai inside the Venice Datanet ⛽️

RG, thank you for saying this. There’s no reason a Base project can’t integrate with a Solana one. That kind of thinking is narrow and clannish. What brings value to my product and my users is the first and foremost driver of decisions. AI will happen everywhere. On Solana. On Base. Off chain. And in space. And we will be there pushing it along at the forefront of innovation.

Lol getting DMs about why we chose a solana project over base project to partner. It’s innovation stupid! It doesn’t have alliance, just constant disruption of status quo. We’re also exploring Bittensor subnet partnerships. Have a positive sum mindset. I personally believe in a chain agnostic future. The market dynamics transition during the early days of cloud compute are an apt one. You’ll see a growing divide between consumer-centric products (Vercel, Digital Ocean) and enterprise-focused ones (AWS, GCP). Subscription-based models fit pretty well on the consumer side. UsePod.ai is the other end of that spectrum.

Telecom charging per minute = AI charging per million tokens. It worked initially because voice was the dominant workload. Then the internet happened. The real value shifted from minutes consumed to “data consumed” AI is going through the same transition now. Reserved compute capacity, GPU bandwidth markets, and forward compute contracts are the broadband era. That’s the deeper $SQUIRE thesis.
