A shocking incident was reported in Pune’s Hinjawadi IT hub where a 42-year-old IT professional, Anurag Kishor Vishwanath Bhagat, was seriously injured after a cab driver allegedly bit his fingers during a dispute over ride fare. The argument reportedly began even before the journey started, when the driver refused to accept the app-shown price and insisted on charging as per the meter.
The situation quickly turned violent, with the driver allegedly assaulting the passenger and biting two fingers of his left hand, partially severing one of them. The injured man was rushed to a hospital for treatment, while police later arrested the accused, identified as Sandeep Dagdu Kathe (30), a resident of Dhayari. A case has been registered at Hinjawadi police station and further investigation is underway.

The Chennai airport can certainly support more flights. The issue is not its runway capacity or the number of terminals but the number of golf carts available to ferry the passengers to the mall upon arrival.

Just got this and I am reading. It’s excellent. The 10 books of the integral edition are too much for me. $16. Still, 900pp. If you don’t want to read it, the “Mahabarata” by Peter Brook (a movie) is free on the Internet Archive. Great. Still, 5hrs of a movie. Ok: read the Bhagavad-Gita. Be Oppenheimer a bit… In sum: get some Mahabarata. Top Ten in universal literature ever, everywhere. Dramatically underrated by non-Indians.

To insinuate that a $4 Trillion GDP India projecting power to protect its core interests with a $80 Billion funded armed forces whose Navy’s core mission is to protect its SLOCs to protect its trade and economic interests is somehow taking America’s side as a matter of primary motivation is disingenuous.
