Rangers 0 Genk 1 Another honking display from this gutless Rangers side in front of their own fans last night and surely the trigger will be pulled on this disasterous Russell Martin appointment sooner rather than later. True the game turned as much on the penalty they didn't get as it did the reckless Diomande challenge that saw them reduced to ten men a few minutes later, but the European blood and thunder we've come to expect at Ibrox was nowhere to be seen right from the off and they were deservedly beaten on the night by a pretty average looking Genk side. The fact that 12,000 home fans turned their back on the team might have also had something to do with that, but that in itself should be the clearest signal yet to the new owners that this can't go on much longer. Away games at Livingston, Sturm Graz and Falkirk await in the next week and all three of those opponents will be licking their lips at the prospect.
