Couldn’t agree more with @EricTopol. US taxpayers made these vaccines possible with $ billions of upfront investment (Moderna) and/or guaranteed purchase (Pfizer) thereby removing all risk for these companies. Now the word “fleece” comes to mind. Will they charge Europe the same?

It is despicable that the Covid vaccine manufacturers are going to charge more than $110/dose for the new XBB.1.5 boosters when available in mid-September. The US government previously paid ~$25/dose, supplied free of charge, and subsidized these companies with untold $ billions.

@CMerandi This happened to me at Scripps Encinitas. The night shift nurse was great about giving me what the doc ordered. The minute the morning shift came on I was practically cut off, given a 1/4th of what was prescribed rather than the full dose, which made my pain even worse. FK them.
