@MickBransfield What happened was someone spoofed the underlying nhl tickers and seeded it with fake liquidity. This is illegal. Then requested liquidity on these markets at the posted price. The market maker quoted at market price which wasn’t close to fair value.

I think this post highlights an issue. Adhi is very smart and someone I respect a lot. So when he says that deci-cent for golf is one of the "most requested" features. Or he's hearing from everyone "golf is broken on Kalshi", I think it mirrors what a lot of smart people at PMs MAY be hearing. But WHO is saying it's broken, and WHO is requesting these features? I can tell you who isn't saying this. 1. Recs 2. Market Makers who are staying up LIVE which is 80% of volume and all that matters. Pregame is useless. 3. The people counting the money at Kalshi. THE VALSPAR CHAMPIONSHIP - a tournament a PGA Tour players don't even care about. Was the 3rd most traded event during the first week of March Madness. This change to deci-cent hurts: 1. Recs who want to bet live - they will fail to get their bet at an exponentially higher rate and they DONT CARE ABOUT PRICE. 2. The valuable MMs (ones who are up live doing the lords work, dodging courtsiders etc..) 3. Kalshi So it helps...me 2 years ago? This would have been a really great update for me and like 10 other sharp golf bettors back when we were 100% taking. And it helps the penny jumpers ofc.

@goldenpants013 i don’t follow, isn’t decicent for golf one of the most requested features? and you’re saying it decreases volume now? been hearing for months that golf on kashi was essentially unplayable due to this issue, and now it’s fixed

@KalshiNewsroom @fairplaygov @CBSMornings @NCAA I could see people counting the heisman as a college player prop and there’s at least 3 similar ones up now, by the way I’m a supporter of kalshi listing player props as catching insider trading should be more possible under a regulated exchange

Kalshi has never offered a single college player prop. The implication that we do is complete misinformation. The claim that we do not collect user information is equally false. Kalshi is a financial exchange; we have extensive integrity, surveillance, and oversight measures. Learn more: kalshi.com/insidertrading

There is an “incredible amount of vitriol that’s being directed” at student athletes playing in #MarchMadness, @ncaa President Charlie Baker says, which is “being driven by betting” on platforms like Kalshi. Baker shares how the NCAA outlined its concerns about prop bets in a letter to Kalshi, as the highly anticipated tournament gets underway.

@BigBuckHunterrr This is all based on the ludicrous framework that we are comparing financial assets to SGPs There are zero non sport combos. At some point what is real matters. They are legal arbitrage to allow SGPs to non legal states. That is the purpose of RFQ system in this case.

The purpose of an RFQ system is to provide a mechanism for people to purchase exotic, complex, or illiquid assets BECAUSE they want to own them. It’s not a playground for bad actors to hunt for price engine errors.

@BigBuckHunterrr @eightyhi I see, thx. Is this true? Feels not standard but I'm no expert x.com/ediyork/status…

Bloomberg praises the “consumer protections” of the... gaming industry where companies like BetMGM have been accused of sending marketing emails to entice 14-year-olds. Every gambling operator limits winners while preying on losers, their KPI is simple: make customers lose more. Meanwhile Kalshi welcomes winners: has nationwide self-limits, self-exclusion, responsible trading tools - and no house targeting consumer losses. Bloomberg you're one of the must trusted source of news that I read, please do better research.

As much as I wish that swimming had a bigger audience, I’m at least glad that it means I don’t have to see kalshi bets on conference champs

@EV_Newjersey There was 75k+ shares available of this at 12c after they beat Michigan (which I took all of) and like 100k shares available at 13 (which I took none of) I understand that the Houston loss today could downgrade Houston - I don’t understand why it upgrades Duke
