Quirky stay at home son and food connoisseur @grpwins is currently #2 on Kalshi volume charts with over $83 Million in Volume traded. Never judge a book by its cover. 📖

Maybe I’m dumb but why don’t people just put money in prediction markets on events that are 90% certain or higher? Seems like a very simple way to make money with very low risk.

@jbets212121 Max Strus over 10.5 -135 is pretty good IMO. I'll take the under if you want to bet it for real for charity.

I am also willing to cross anybody who wants to make this more interesting. Pick a 50/50ish market and your side wins I’ll donate. But if your side loses, you have to donate. You get a chance to do some charity maxxing while gift mogging me.

It's Autism Awareness Month. If you would like to make a difference, someone close to me has started a charity to help adult teens and young adults on the autism spectrum or with other exceptionalities. If you are able, please consider donating below: givebutter.com/raise-funds-fo…

@chinamaniac @Novig @BigBuckHunterrr @Flupnolide If that tournament had a few more games I’d be back in public accounting right now. Didn’t think it was possible to lose that many bets in a row

@ThonMisser @Novig @BigBuckHunterrr @Flupnolide Hard agree on the request limit. I would argue that MMs aren’t running rampant on recs. Makers are forced to compete with eachother on price to secure taker volume. Many cases where combo pricing is better than anything offered at rec shops

@jbets212121 @Novig @BigBuckHunterrr @Flupnolide I’m fully for putting in place ways to stop bad actors. For example I think aggressively limiting the # of RFQ requests in a time period to prevent spamming for price errors is really smart. But w/ creator IDs you could argue MMs are running rampant on recs with no real risk.

@ThonMisser @Novig @BigBuckHunterrr @Flupnolide I don’t think it’s necessarily fair that sharp takers suffer. Simply advocating for my personal interests. I do think eliminating ids and allowing sharps to run rampant would increase hold % across the board and make the environment worse for recs

@Novig @jbets212121 @BigBuckHunterrr @Flupnolide @jbets212121 Genuine Q regarding Creator IDs: Why do the best takers have to suffer to save the worst market makers? Why do takers have no right to earn but makers (when you argue “an idiot could do it”) have the right to blindly copy OSB odds and print?

Bloomberg praises the “consumer protections” of the... gaming industry where companies like BetMGM have been accused of sending marketing emails to entice 14-year-olds. Every gambling operator limits winners while preying on losers, their KPI is simple: make customers lose more. Meanwhile Kalshi welcomes winners: has nationwide self-limits, self-exclusion, responsible trading tools - and no house targeting consumer losses. Bloomberg you're one of the must trusted source of news that I read, please do better research.
