@NIONenad @BarokMode @BrianTycangco That tiredness is what market want to capitalize and get low entry. I hope it is todays option expiry keeping it below 6$
Nothing wrong with delivery numbers
English

$NIO bucks slow market to deliver 23% YoY growth in April deliveries.
CnEVPost@CnEVPost
Nio delivers 29,356 vehicles in April, up 22.83% year-on-year From January through April, Nio Inc delivered 112,821 vehicles, a 70.96% increase year-on-year. cnev.co/IAZcSf1 👇

@dirtygreenpaper I might not agree with you on others but agree with $nio and $eth 😁
They are doing strong 30k sales every month and with new launches it is only going to increase. People are not seeing big picture in NIO
English

@SZ_Investing I feel NIO overall did good considering the model refresh. Onvo numbers were great and compensated for ES8 slight shortfall to get us near 30k
L80 hopefully pushes Onvo overall close to 15k to 20k monthly deliveries. Q2 looks strong and close to profitability
English

@SZ_Investing 14k-15k for ES8
4k - 6k for Firefly
6k for other NIO
4k for Onvo
Might be conservative but anything above this is a big win
English

@KSethi2107 @SZ_Investing Production line limitations. L90 strong launch and also ES8 success. Industry went into battery bottleneck due to CATL maintainance
They also wanted Lidar to be finalized as L90 and L80 share same platform
English

@SZ_Investing I dont know if i am impressed by Nio launch strategy , Li auto was almost on dying but i6 save it by 24k per mnth , L80 is it direct competitior Nio shld have launch it to kill i6 way erly and kil Li auto as a compny. 5 seater ES8 wil be better than ZK 8X but Nio dint launch yet
English

@SZ_Investing After what happend with L60, I like how NIO is maintaining low profile in socializing order book. Hope L80 creates brand awareness and in turn lifts Onvo sales
English

@TycoonVippy @Jas0nYu Even if deliveries is low overall it is not of any concern as NIO has had lot of model refresh. During refresh people wait to buy new version. Also with ES9 and L80 deliveries starting in coming months, deliveries will pick up rapidly and compensate for April
English

@5littlebass @NIOGlobal I think they have sold close to 12k units till now this month. Can they get to 18k as typically last week is when they push sales hard
English

The 100,000th $Nio #ES8 has been delivered in Beijing, taking 20 days.
Did anyone guess the time and location correctly?

English

@neural_theory I think more and more customers understand BaaS and swaps NIO will get benefitted
EV battery contains 5000+ cells and cells die overtime. Thermal insulation can be degraded overtime. NIO checks for issues and fixes it to keep customers safe. This is only way EV cars can sustain
English

It's going to be interesting to see if $NIO succeed with battery swap. From a buyer's POV, it certainly makes sense and means that you don't always need to worry about the latest battery tech, and whether your battery is degrading badly.
But, like all things in business, you can have the best product feature in the world, but if you don't have the marketing budget to back it, it will fail.
Let's see...
NIO 蔚来 Jaime WorldCitizen 世界公民 🌏 Spain@jaimoncete
$NIO has published data showing that it removes approximately 1.000 batteries with safety issues from its BATTERY SWAP STATIONS 🪫🔋 each month for repair. For users of this system, this eliminates concerns about battery lifespan, as that is the company's responsibility.
English

@SZ_Investing Yes and also from L90 refresh. Hopefully both does decent volume in coming month
English

@5littlebass @Almighty_Heini @NIOGlobal It is from annual report 20 F so it is comparison between 2024 vs 2025. Ideally will not include Q1 2026
I hope they are able to keep r&d spending and margin as last year while accelerating on revenue
English

@Almighty_Heini @SrivatsanAI @NIOGlobal It's unclear if these numbers were from last year or from Q1 this year. Regardless, if true that 40% reduction in R&D workforce is a HUGE number. Perhaps some/most of them are offshore, like US &/or EUR operations?!
English

News from Simply Wall Street that $Nio is cutting 10.6k jobs across #Nio
The R&D staff is getting hit 40%, but mfg headcount has increased
Generally mkts like layoffs so long as it don't affect revenue & profits negatively
Let's see what happens over coming weeks!
@NIOGlobal

English

@5littlebass @DCDOWORK Fair point but I still hope it is priced closed to 600k and does 8 to 10k per month 😁 along with ES8 doing another 10 to 15k.
English

@5littlebass @DCDOWORK Will it not impact ES8 considering I heard there was significant sales on ES8 high end model ?
Also how about ET9 sales even though ET9 is a luxury executive sedan looks like lot of ET9 features are in ES9
I just hope they price it right
English

@Pipo_Bpo I feel it is very close to breakeven but new swap stations will delay profits. $nio said 60+ swap a day per station to turn profitable 2 years back. Since then lithium prices are down 60%
If it is able to monetize energy by alternate means then this can generate massive profits
English

$NIO más autos venda, más swaps va a realizar. Veremos si llega al breakeven este mismo año.

@jan_dekkers Just thinking if 18.1% margin can be maintained. Considering $NIO taking hit on incentives and also Q1 sales push deals offered
Q1 might be around -0.1 eps but Q2 and further might turn out in green
If they are able to do well in Q1 it is a bonus

@StephenWangs73 @TheLongInvest $li is good till L80 and ES8 launch. Once launched they are going to have some good competition for i6 model
English

@TheLongInvest $nio seems having some nice cars. $LI is the main competitor. Let’s see who will win out. I just don’t think hybrid cars are cost effective
