i had no idea what @NousResearch was cooking up when i fell in love with their designs years ago. lo and behold they crafted something as if forged by Thoth

Always loved this glass effect. I built this interactive version with html-in-canvas and Three.js.

@cropsgg305 @theo Opus 4.7 is a significantly different model than 4.6 while at the same time changing the harness too

@theo This assumes people switch models for fun, not leverage imo. Most devs don’t want to ‘learn a new model’ they want consistent output across upgrades actually I mean are these model providers building tools or just ecosystems that require relearning every 6 months?

One thing I miss about the 90s and 2000s and the part of the 2010s is that every 2 years tech just got better. Games looked remarkably better, the systems you would buy would be significantly better. Honestly at this point I can barely tell the difference, performance wise, for the last 5 years.

curious that people verbally assault their AI and project all sorts of nasty emotions, and yet the AI complies to their bidding. surely no negative downstream effects irl... some of you really tell on yourselves...

If we are redesigning GitHub lets do it in the style of Final Fantasy / Dragon Quest.

@StarloveDev @Dimillian Pretty much. Even cosmetic only takes the fun out of finding cool gear because you can buy a cool look instead of earning it. So then anything pay to win is obviously the mark of the beast.

A game I'm likely to push forward and open source. An ASCII Diablo lite, built entirely by Codex in Rust. I've told Codex to implement a preview system so it can run preview any UI or game state so it and debug/fix it.

Im talking about games these days farming the players. They are designed to extract the most amount of money out of people with micro transactions etc. The depth I want is deep mechanics, strategic gameplay and interesting loot. I want to play the game not have the game play me.

@Dimillian Yes do it. All a guy wants is a deep diablo like game without all the bullshit but keep all the depth. Doesnt matter what it looks like.
