This week, INL PDAS Smith-Wilson met with Liberian Auditor General Jackson and his team to discuss ongoing efforts to promote transparency and accountability. The United States looks forward to continued partnership to combat corruption and strengthen governance in Liberia.

Last week, CGAC was pleased to participate in and speak at @USEmbassySkopje’s Western Balkans Anti-Corruption Conference, which facilitated cross-regional learning and networking - an important part of our common fight against corruption.

Secretary of State Blinken: “We’ve reorganized the Department and invested in our ability to lead on the issues that are increasing animating our diplomacy…[including] establishing a Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption.”

Yesterday, INL PDAS Shelby Smith-Wilson spoke at the G20 Anti-Corruption Ministerial in Brazil 🇧🇷 about U.S. anti-corruption efforts and objectives, particularly to promote accountability. This convening demonstrated leadership by G20 countries on critical corruption issues.

It's been an honor to serve as the @StateDept's first Coordinator on Global Anti-Corruption. As I depart, I'm tremendously proud of the team we've built and the great work we've achieved with our partners in government and out. Much remains to be done but the progress is real.

Today the NSC - with @StateCGAC @USAIDDRG and @USTreasury - hosted a roundtable with key stakeholders to celebrate how our global #anticorruption work is delivering for American businesses, keeping communities safer, and standing up for #democracy around the world.

Excited to be at the #IACC2024 in Vilnius to exchange ideas on the interface between corruption and mass atrocities with our anti-corruption partners.

Honored to join anti-corruption colleagues from around the world here in #Vilnius for the International Anti-Corruption Conference #IACC2024 Addressed the Business Integrity forum this morning and emphasized the importance of public private partnerships in curbing corruption and leveling the playing field for businesses acting with integrity.
