@Johnny_Joey Joey, as an AF retiree, I concur. Such an awesome platform.

For those of you not familiar.
The A-10 Warthog is the ugliest, most absurdly beautiful killing machine to ever take flight. A flying chunk of titanium molded around a gatlin gun style cannon; the equally absurd 30mm GAU-8.
It commands the adoration of troops on the ground as the sound of its unmistakable mating call the “brrrrrrp” overhead means several enemy fighters have been neutralized.
It flies low and slow delivering death more intimately than any other fighter jet could fathom.
Cloaked in armor, it’s rumored to be able to take damage to 70% of its airframe and still land with ease. It doesn’t need a long or even paved runway.
The uppity nerds running the Air Force have decided to “phase them out” this year… yet here they are continuing to “get some”.
I personally think that @USMC should take the them over… they fit perfectly in our “take old shit and make it great” culture.

@SGTWipper1Each Put the “smart” in smart b0mbs. Still do it as a civilian.

Arsenal are taking the joy out of football and that’s why Max Dowman’s goal was such a welcome surprise

@SGTWipper1Each Well, Chris, I’ll represent the AF. Although I have seen both teams fly more times than I can count, my heart is with the AF. I also have beers every Friday with the #7 jet pilot from 82-85. They are all class military professionals.

@BuzzPatterson Same here, Buzz. Stationed late in my career at Langley. I received orders to Hawaii of all places. My daughter was in 10th grade. They both said if you go it’ll be by yourself. Went to Afghanistan instead. Do not regret a thing.

Many folks have asked, both friend and foe. Let me put a pin in my retiring from the Air Force seemingly early. Not that I owe this to anybody but just to be clear.
No, I was never passed over. Nor was I forced to retire. I had a blessed career.
I was promoted ahead of my peers to major, lieutenant colonel, and colonel. I turned down my promotion to colonel because of my family and our first child who was born prematurely and had health needs. It didn’t go over well with senior USAF leadership.
Do I ever look back? Of course I do. I wouldn’t change a day of my 20 years. The positions and career I could’ve had if I’d stayed. But I chose my God and my life.
I made the right decision. And why I still strive to serve…and will for the rest of my life.
That is all. Carry on.

@JustanAmericana @SteveLovesAmmo You say in your bio you are a guy with a genius IQ…

@SteveLovesAmmo Their Air Force recruits probably first time eating them.

Several accounts posting this same video “poor Veterans” that honestly have zero clue.
This was actually a great time. Clean uniform, in a climate controlled environment, downing MREs while likely making inappropriate as fck jokes.
Stay in your lane.

@TickleTexts You would, everyone does, and if you were a target on the business end of this platform, you’d do more than dribble.

@Tripple____M Let’s face it, Hurzeler is such a whiney little b1tch.

@ProfessorPape You have absolutely no idea what the F?ck you are talking about. What a dumbass. I’ll leave it at that.

When Sec Hegseth says US shifting to gravity bombs, this means we are running out of precision munitions. The Smart Bomb Trap is transforming into a Dumb Bomb disaster. thehill.com/policy/defense…

@Statictgts We need to send you the approval questions for the USA Military Connection community. If you can please send me a DM and I will respond with the questions. We do this to keep stolen valor or stolen accounts out of our community out of respect for all of you who served.

@SGTWipper1Each It’s usually quieter. You notice it more. True for me that is.

@BuzzPatterson The reason he needs a walker: due to his injuries, his legs can barely handle the weight of his balls.

@dmbkparker It’s not just night stalker wives, but all military wives and children that have to deal for long periods of time ensuring all is taken care of on the home front.

We also need to honor Amy Slover. She has stood by Eric’s side through thick and thin. The pride in her eyes is evident. I’ve said on here before that Nightstalker wives are just built different.
They endure, they support, and they do it all alone. When we leave we have the easy job. These ladies spend many nights alone, experience too many rapid departures.
These ladies make us what we are. None of us would be where we are without them.
Thank you Amy, you are an example to all. LNSDQ

@dmbkparker Dan-thank you to you and your family for your service. My favorite helicopter.

Yesterday the sun set on my military career. It was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Surrounded by family, friends, and many that I had gone to the fight with we reminisced on over two decades together.
We laughed, we cried, we smiled, and we remembered. There are many who will continue to take the fight forward. On dark nights, in dangerous places, heroes will do impossible things. Then they will wake up and do it all again.
My journey has finished, my fight is complete. I loved the people, I loved the mission, I loved the customer, I loved the helicopter.
I served with the memory and pride of those who have gone before me. For they loved to fight, fought to win, and would rather die than quit.
Thank you my friends for making sure I made it home. May God guide you in your next fight wherever it may be.
