@Tusk_4Real I think it depends on where you live. I'm in a small town in the midwest and my kid has had at least 100 sleepovers. probably at least three a month since age 12.

I was a kid in the 90s, and by the time I was 12 I had stayed at my friends houses hundreds of nights for sleepovers. My friends stayed with me hundreds of nights for sleepovers. Video games. Making home movies. Snacks. Bewshittin'. My sons are 8 and 12 and neither of them have ever been to a sleepover. Neither of them have ever tried to get one cooking at my house. And don't get me wrong - I do NOT want other kids at my house. But I wouldn't deny my kids the opportunity to make those memories. Are sleepovers just not a thing anymore? What is going on?

Is anyone still funding origins of life research these days now that NASA and Simons are out of the game? Because I’ve got an interesting idea…

@paulkhls This is cool, but why not use BindCraft to generate more peptide candidates? No need to reinvent a pipeline. This is a long read, but give it a look (especially section 23). doi.org/10.55277/Resea…

🧵 Over 24 hours, our scientific team and AI scientist infrastructure developed a novel peptide agonist to potentially treat ADHD. Below is our paper for a pre-IND computational feasibility assessment for OX2R-004: an 18-residue peptide agonist designed as a selective OX2R agonist for ADHD. Why this matters? No approved orexin agonists exist anywhere. All marketed orexin drugs are dual OX1R/OX2R antagonists for insomnia. Clinical-stage ones are small molecules for narcolepsy only. We did this with @peptai_ a novel full 8-gate computational pipeline in one shot developed by @BioProtocol community 👇

Right now on ResearchHub, a proposal is fundraising to test the feasibility of the Wim Hof Method (breathwork + cold exposure) in cancer patients. The reason why goes back to one of the longest living mammals on Earth 🐋 Here, Wim Hof explains. This 16-week observational study plans to explore whether the approach is safe under doctor supervision. They also intend to measure inflammatory markers, heart rate variability, fatigue, sleep quality, and mood. This is what ResearchHub is for: to support projects that don't often get funded through traditional channels.

Chronic inflammation was thought to increase with age. It does. But there’s a plot twist. A new study published in Nature Aging compared 4 geographically and genetically distant groups: + industrialized societies (Italy and Singapore) + indigenous communities (Bolivian Amazon and rural Malaysia) Chronic inflammation, also known as “inflammaging” markers increased with age only in the 2 industrial groups. For the 2 indigenous cohorts, inflammation was driven by active infections and parasites. Inflammaging markers did not predict age-related diseases (cardiovascular, kidney, metabolic disease) in this community. The results suggest age-related inflammation is neither universal nor predestined to our biology. It’s an outcome of poor lifestyle choices in modern societies, and very likely preventable.

Have had a lot of people reach out to me after the 10/10 black swan looking to build capital again IMO the best way to do so is either 1. Get a job (boring) or 2. Try out a prop firm If you have a system in place, and just need capital, you can get funded for up to $200,000 with @breakoutprop so many account options, and you just gotta pass an eval to get going Sign up below 👇 breakoutprop.com & Use discount code 8N1DFX at checkout !

Let's be real. A community built on the expectation of an airdrop is not a community. But "communities" are incredibly important for early feedback. So, we are launching a USX pre-depositors group. No points. No Discord manager allocation. Just vibes, feedback, and maybe alpha idk. So if u wanna help us build USX right from the start, let us know. Drop a comment, and we'll send you an invite.

@cjhtech @kucoincom yeah, this was a weird one to take a negative stance on. CEX's don't need permission to list a token and they usually suspend withdraws for 4-24 hours after trading begins.

glimitless be wary of unsolicited CEX listings on @kucoincom you can buy $LMTS, but not withdraw it 🤔🤔🤔 did you know that CEXs likely create fake tokens to extract?

Every bill I pay doesn’t disappear anymore. It stacks Bitcoin. Here’s how I make the most out of the money I’m already spending: 1. Paycheck goes straight into @coinbase using direct deposit 2. Auto-converts into USDC (earns ~4%+ while it sits) 3. Spend with Coinbase One Card (earn 4% back in Bitcoin) 4. Auto-pay from my USDC balance (pays itself before month-end → no interest, funds kept earning until then) 5. Move Bitcoin rewards to @base (put them to work for extra yield) My money makes me money, even when I’m spending it. And with Coinbase’s recent acqui-hire of @holdsensible's founders (experts in yield + DeFi UX), I think the next step is seamless Bitcoin yield built right into the app. No extra steps. Just spend → earn → let it grow.
