@tonsmit @AwakenChirp No modern European should feel guilty about that and no African or Indigenous Peoples should be deterred from interrogating that side of things. Most can only argue from that starting point as it is the only source of written history and context that's available to them 2/2

@tonsmit @AwakenChirp The problem starts with modern day patterns of "guilt" for being associated with the "wrong team". African society did dramatically change for the worse due to Western influence because it had to be entirely broken down to be fully conquered....1/2

The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began. The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start. Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have. If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.

@dnahinga Centralized urbanisation seems to also be a challenge in many African countries. In a European statisticians eyes, the population and projections at the village level can sustain an urbanised region without considering flight to the capital city....I love your posts btw

Every statistic predicting that X% of Africans will live in cities by year Y hides another question: What percentage of Africans can access opportunity without leaving home? A man leaving a functioning homestead in Bungoma to live like rubbish in a sheet-metal structure in Kawangware is not automatically evidence of progress. Can modern prosperity be decentralized? Some estimate that 60 to 70% of Nairobi residents live in slums and informal settlements.

@SkosanaTok69289 @LvovoSA Of course not. But we should be holding the municipalities responsible for letting it become a thing in the first place. Otherwise tomorrow it'll be someone else from somewhere else breaking the law

@FoxNews Keane’s confidence is a huge signal. If the U.S. is 'well on its way' to hitting every objective, it means the leverage is finally shifting in our favor. The 82nd Airborne’s deployment and the recent strikes are clearly having the intended effect.

@GenghisJaviKhan @GabrielGLouw001 @dylanotes I appreciate the gentle correction brother, the little time I did take had showed me that as long as up to 10% of goods and services have a connection to the US then it's subject to the embargo this includes its finance system which brings complications. I stand to be corrected

Mind you Cuba is literally just some island nation that has never launched a military attack at us. The US has them under a blockade because wealthy americans don't like their economy. That's literally it.

CNN: Breaking news. Cuba's electrical grid has suffered a complete and total collapse. This is according to the country's power operator. It's the first nationwide blackout since the US effectively shut off the flow of oil to Cuba

@Joseph_Browning @TheRealJamieKay Oooor, feeling left out by a system he perceives to do right by the newbies more than the people who've been around for generations. Non confrontational dialogue and political accountability could resolve like 99.9% of the UKs problems

@IanECox Look at the syllabi of many African countries, not the infrastructure. They're almost all based on a white paper that got lobbied for to compliment donor funding. Sometimes by the local leaders themselves to suit whatever ends. Can't teach 4 legs good if 2 legs are deemed better

The average person in Africa knows very little of their national and African history. This forms just one simple negative of the broad failure of many educational systems.
