@b_cuse_ @HuskerGuy99 The NE GOP isn’t happy he’s on the ticket. I think they’re worried he’s unelectable in the general.

Nebraska is at the tip of the spear of America’s fight against the Andes Hantavirus. We have worked hand-in-glove with our federal partners—from the @WhiteHouse to @SecKennedy’s office to the CDC and @DrJBhattacharya—and with all their great teams in the management of this event. That partnership continues, as the world-class @UNMC team provides excellent monitoring and care for our guests. ruralradio.com/kneb-am/news/g…

@frankfracker @RhuleAid I completely agree! I'm done with parties, both are corrupt. We need to vote on the person's integrity, past record and plan. We are the Greater Sovereigns. They, the lesser.

@StellaRuby2144 @RhuleAid these people work for us. these people aren’t better than us, they aren’t elites like they’ve come to believe this last quarter century. this is our money, our lives, they seemingly fuck with by choice. i don’t care where they align, put nebraskans first. only nebraskans.

Man, the disconnect with these older politicians is wild. They jump on social media… and they’re terrible at it. Guys like Bob Evnen seem scared to actually talk to real people and get a pulse on the community. That’s where Scott Peterson crushed it. They’re so worried about their image. But if you don’t stand for anything, you’ll fall for everything. And that’s exactly what happened. Politics is turning into pure theatre for cheap social media points, usually with half the context missing. They chase what’s trending instead of listening to their actual base. Don Bacon does it all the time. Follows the clicks, not the people. Then ridicules his base. A lot of them are falling into the same trap.

@sofaking1776 @lynnewalz Doesn’t take a huge crowd to start something. It always starts small and grows over time. Maybe you need to take some time off social media if you have nothing meaningful to say.

I had a great time talking to people in Lexington and Gothenburg in my first trip since becoming the Democratic nominee for Governor. No matter where I go, I’m hearing from Nebraskans that want our state focused on growth, not political fights. Now onto McCook!

@RhuleAid i’m also tired of hearing people on the right say “this person is woke” or people on the left saying “this person is maga” thinking that low hanging fruit will equate to votes. tell me your fucking ideas, your plan, how you’re going to make my life better with your actions.

Probably the worst election results in Nebraska last night were the couple of school bonds that failed spectacularly in rural districts. This is increasingly common in small town Nebraska.

GO TO YOUR LIVING ROOM RIGHT NOW. LOOK AT YOUR WIFI ROUTER. THAT DEVICE IS PULSING MICROWAVE RADIATION THROUGH YOUR WALLS 24 HOURS A DAY. AND IT NEVER TURNS OFF. Your WiFi router operates at 2.4 GHz. This is the exact same frequency used inside your microwave oven to heat food. The only difference is power output. Your microwave uses 1,000 watts concentrated in a metal box. Your router uses 0.1 watts scattered in every direction, passing through your walls, your bed, your skull, and your children — every second of every day. In 2018, the National Toxicology Program — a division of the U.S. Department of Health — completed a $30 million, 10-year study on radiofrequency radiation. They exposed rats to levels of RF radiation similar to what humans absorb from wireless devices. The result: clear evidence of malignant tumors in the hearts of male rats. DNA damage in the brain cells of both sexes. This was the largest and most expensive study ever conducted on wireless radiation. The industry buried it within 48 hours. In 2017, over 400 scientists and medical doctors from 40 countries signed the International EMF Scientist Appeal to the United Nations, warning that current safety guidelines are inadequate and that wireless radiation poses a serious biological threat at levels far below current legal limits. Your router does not just emit while you browse. It pulses a beacon signal 10 times per second even when no device is connected. While you sleep, it is still transmitting. While your children sleep, it passes through their thinner skulls and developing brains. The telecommunications industry is worth $1.7 trillion. They wrote the safety standards. They fund the research. They pay the regulators. The FCC safety guidelines have not been updated since 1996 — before WiFi existed. Turn your router off tonight before you sleep. Buy a timer plug for $8. Set it to shut off at 11pm and turn on at 6am. You will sleep deeper on the first night. Your body has been waiting for the signal to stop.

The laundry industry figured out one of the greatest grifts in American retail: sell people a giant bottle that’s mostly water, perfume, and vibes. Most detergent is designed to smell like “clean” before it actually needs to do much cleaning. You can make your own with the parts that actually matter: Washing soda: raises the pH and helps lift grease and grime. Borax: softens hard water and keeps dirt from redepositing. Castile soap: breaks surface tension and helps carry the dirt away. For a 4-person household doing around 300 loads a year: Commercial detergent: $150 to $180 DIY version: about $6 That’s $140+ saved by refusing to pay luxury prices for scented tap water. Trust the chemistry, not the marketing. Reclaim your laundry room. 🇺🇸

Not to read too much into endorsements, but basically every Nebraska Republican elected to state or federal office supported Secretary of State Bob Evnen. The people who have won elections trust the guy who runs Nebraska’s elections.
