When unstable people meet stochastic terrorism, this is what you get. A violent career criminal convinced that they're doing "a justice" by killing a random effigy of their perceived frustrations.
Those who view the world through the lens of group identity have been BEGGING for the return of pathological tribalism complete with double standards, and those who abhor such things find themselves being pushed to the brink of saying "fuck it, maybe it's time to oblige them", because it seems to be the only language collectivists understand.
