Curl-Salemme, who represents Team USA in women’s hockey at the Winter Olympics in Italy, is a devout Catholic. She recently shared that she has been following Fr. Mike Schmitz’s Bible in a Year podcast and has pinned a Catholic Mass times website to her profile to help others find nearby churches.

Jordan Poyer, Dane Jackson, Shaq Lawson, Jordan Phillips, Tre White, etc. All of these players (and more) played substantially better in Buffalo than anywhere else. These aren't examples of a GM finding elite talent, but they are examples of an HC elevating players.

Sean McDermott is the epitome of class and high character. He grew so much in his nine years here as head coach and really turned the culture on the football team into one that models this city and its hard work and dedication. The way the organization has dealt with this firing today doesn’t feel good whatsoever. The messaging from the team felt insincere (with a typo) and rushed for a man who gave us nearly a decade of his heart, soul, and life. The fact we won’t hear anything else until tomorrow is off putting and McDermott 100% deserved better than the way this all went down.
