On this day in 1982, Argentine forces seize the Falkland Islands. It takes Britain just 73 days to assemble a naval task force, sail it to the South Atlantic and retake the territory. What the politicians have allowed to happen to our country since is a disgrace, given it all away our history and our heritage fought for and built by our forefathers, technologies shared with the rest of the world to allow them to grow, The money raised from the countless taxes on our hard earned money just spunked away. We were a once proud nation and we are now suppressed into silence with no allowable point of view.

44 years ago today, during the Falklands War, my husband stood on the front line defending our British flag in the South Atlantic. This is him on the left, captured in this moment after the battle, hands on his head, taken as a prisoner of war. He fought with courage alongside his comrades in the bitter cold and harsh conditions, doing what so many young British servicemen did, answering the call to protect British sovereignty. Until ordered to lay down arms by the Governor Rex Hunt! Today we remember the bravery of all who served in the Falklands. The ones who came home, the ones who didn’t, and the families who waited and worried. 🫡🇬🇧 To my husband - I’m so proud of the man you were then, and the man you are now. Good Friday offers an important chance for quiet reflection - that applies whether you’re a regular churchgoer or not. For many millions, it holds deep religious meaning. For others, it is simply a reminder of the Christian values that have long shaped our country for the better. Fairness, humility, compassion, responsibility, duty. Sacrifice. Vital recognition that not everything needs to be rushed, or argued over, or endlessly debated. Some moments are better approached with a bit of much-needed perspective and thought. Good Friday reminds us of doing what is right when it is difficult, and even when it is not the most straightforward path to take. Because something worth doing is often not easy. In today’s Britain, with all of the many challenges we face as a people, that feels more valuable than ever. Wishing everyone a peaceful and reflective Good Friday.

I want to apologize for not responding to any of the 22 thousand comments my last post inspired. I’ve been filming all week and just noticed my observations about Jimmy Kimmel and a former plumber named Markwayne Mullin have gone viral. I've also noticed that many of the comments are from people who genuinely seem to believe that Jimmy wasn’t belittling plumbers at all, but was instead, simply trying to point out that Mullin is not qualified to lead the DHS. Here's a small smattering... Roger Bicknell... Mikey stop. Kimmel wasn't making fun of plumbers he was making fun of Mullin. Rebecca Piatt Gonzalez... Dearest Mike, it's not anything to do with his being a plumber. It's him NOT being skilled in Homeland Security. Patrick Wise... Being a plumber qualifies you to be a plumber. Period. The issue Jimmy and the rest of us at the adult table recognize is that jobs require certain training and experience and being a plumber does not qualify you to be Sec of DHS. Had Roger, Rebecca, Patrick and all the others who rushed to Jimmy’s Kimmel’s defense actually read what I had written, they would see that I did not suggest - even remotely - that a plumber was inherently qualified to hold a cabinet position. What I said was that being a plumber should not disqualify a person from holding such a position. Big difference. Doctors, lawyers, veterinarians, fireman, and university professors are no more or less qualified to run the DHS than plumbers, electricians, or carpenters – but should they all be dismissed as “unqualified” simply because they made a living in some other vocation? As I wrote in my original post, credentials and diplomas are great ways to bolster a person’s credibility, especially if we’re talking about mastering a specific skill. I think we can all agree that plumbers, accountants, mechanics, and surgeons should all have to prove themselves competent before hanging out a shingle. But what do their credentials and diplomas have to do with their actual competency? Are we not already surrounded by a legion of perfectly qualified experts who don't know what the hell they're doing? Moreover, what do credentials and experience have to do with wisdom, honesty, common sense, integrity, courage, the ability to lead, or any other virtue we’d like to have in our elected officials? There are plenty of legitimate reasons to question Mullin’s suitability for this role. But there’s no legitimate reason to disqualify him simply because he used to be a plumber. Just as there was no legitimate reason to dismiss AOC because she used to tend bar. As for the joke itself, here’s an honest question. If Senator Mullin was a retired doctor instead of a retired plumber, do you believe he would have would made the same joke? Roger, Rebecca, Patrick...be honest. Do you really think Jimmy would have said to his audience, "So, now we have a DOCTOR in charge of protecting us from terrorism? Hey – it worked for Dr. Suess – maybe it’ll work for Markwayne!" Personally, I don't. Not in a million years. Why? Because no one would have found it funny, that’s why. Even though doctors are no more “qualified” to protect us from terrorists than plumbers are, Jimmy knows that doctors are widely respected in society, and that plumbers are not. He knows that medical degrees and doctorates are aspirational credentials, whereas plumbing certificates are not. The entire premise of his joke was based on a personal bias that he knew his audience shared – a bias that presupposes plumbers are uneducated, one-dimensional workers who never made it to college, and are therefore "unqualified" to do anything but plumb. Jimmy is entitled to his opinion, along with anyone else who believes that Mullin is unqualified to lead the DHS. The Constitution, however, says otherwise, and so does the Senate. Likewise, reasonable people can disagree as to what is funny and what isn’t. Frankly, I couldn’t care less. What I do care about, is the extraordinary shortage of plumbers and electricians our country is facing, and the longstanding stigmas and stereotypes that continue to discourage people from considering a lucrative career in the skilled trades. Jimmy’s joke – and his audience’s reaction to it – is proof positive that those stigmas and stereotypes are alive and well. PS. My brother @EnochBurke has spent over 600 days in jail for refusing to bow to transgenderism. Today my mother Martina and sister Ammi were arrested and jailed - for having the courage and conviction to call out the lies and treachery of judges who have ignored the constitution and imposed LGBTQ+ tyranny on our country. Jill Dando was going to speak out about a huge trafficking ring within the BBC and the Establishment. She knew how filthy and evil the corporation was, she knew the BBC covered up for the likes of Jimmy Saville, Rolf Harris and Stuart Hall, and MI5 took her out as they didn't want to be exposed. Jill had the goods on many of them, so they had to move in quick and murderer her. The BBC should be taken down and arrests should be made. The BBC is a cesspool of swamp creatures who are involved in murdering, rape, torture of innocent children. Jill Dando wanted to save the children, like many others. I want to speak honestly and frankly about something that almost everybody in British politics is too frightened to even brush past: the growing influence of Islam in Britain, and what that means for our culture, our laws and most importantly - our future. We have to look at the reality of what is happening at a societal level, and the way in which a political and cultural ideology is shaping large parts of our country. Britain was built on a strong Christian moral foundation. Our freedoms, our laws, our institutions - they are all rooted in that heritage. What we are seeing today is something very different. Entire areas where British culture has been pushed aside. Parallel systems of law and authority operating quietly, although increasingly loudly, in the shadows. Fear and intimidation silencing criticism, even in Parliament and the media. It’s not even multiculturalism in many areas of Britain, there is one culture - Islam. Sharia law roles being openly advertised on Government platforms, 85 Sharia courts operating around the country, millions of animals brutally butchered alive. All to avoid offending Muslims? I don’t care about that. This is Britain. We do things a certain way. We must not change that to appease one religion. When elected politicians are afraid to speak the truth about the rape gangs because they fear being accused of ‘Islamophobia’, that tells you that something is profoundly wrong. Local councils and police pathetically bend over backwards to avoid upsetting ‘community leaders’. This attitude helped to enable the mass rape of thousands and thousands of white British girls, mainly by gangs of Pakistani Muslim men in towns and cities all across the UK. If we had the courage to confront these facts then, it would not have happened on such a vast scale. I promise you that. I am deeply concerned that we are sleepwalking into a future where our own culture and laws are gradually eroded, not through a sudden revolution, but drip by drip through cowardice, appeasement, and political convenience. The growth of the Muslim population means on current trajectory - this is a question of when, not if. Look at how part of England have changed already, in just a few decades. Rochdale, Bradford, Luton, large parts of East London. I could go on. The Government’s entire approach to Gaza is driven by a desperate attempt to cling on to the Muslim vote in dozens and dozens of these constituencies. The agenda is being driven by an organised, religiously-driven bloc vote. That's just a fact. Starmer will evidently do nothing. Farage talks of an inevitable loss if we alienate Islam, he doesn’t even believe halal slaughter should be prohibited. It's weak and it's pathetic. The Tories? These issues disappointingly spread so widely and deeply under their watch. And you think it’s bad now? After the next election, it will get worse. And the election after that? Worse again. We need to protect our culture and legal system without apology. We need to draw a clear line. One law for all - no parallel systems, no special exemptions for Islam. We need to assert that Britain is a Christian country, built on Christian values, and that will not change to accommodate any other ideology. Ban Halal slaughter. Ban Sharia courts. Ban the burqa. Ban hate-preachers. Be assertive, set an example. Deport those foreign Islamists who hate our way of life and want to do us harm - we will not tolerate such intolerance anymore. Stop appeasing cultural practices that clash with British law and values. Halt malign foreign funding of mosques. Strip citizenship from dual nationals involved in Islamist extremism, and deport them too. Above all, we need to be honest. Because if we cannot even speak about this issue openly, we have already lost. Restore Britain will do just that. I hope you consider joining if you want to support us in that mission. We must unapologetically restore confidence and belief in our own identity, our own culture and our own laws.
