He is wanted in connection with a sexual offences case registered at Bothasig SAPS in August 2025. A court warrant for his arrest has been issued. Authorities confirmed that Edwards is depicted in a circulated photograph to help the public identify him. Police believe community cooperation will be critical in advancing the investigation and bringing the suspect to justice. Information reveals that on 2025-02-22 at around 13:00, three unknown females and an unknown male entered a jewellery store at a premises in Alfred Mall, V&A Waterfront. It is reported that they enquired about the products in the store and requested to take a look at the jewellery of which one of the ladies fitted on and after they were done, they left the store. A few minutes later they returned while the shop assistant was still busy putting the jewellery back when one of the ladies requested to see a pendant again. He assisted her and when they were done, they left the store. After some time after they left the shop assistant noticed that two rings and a pendant to the value of R1,350,000 were missing from the cabinet. He alerted security but they had already left the V&A Waterfront. An appeal is hereby made to anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of these people to please contact the investigating officer Detective Warrant officer Abrahams on 0825222572 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
