@SecCardona @usedgov DYK I'm a public school teacher 23yrs and I cannot qualify for ANY loan forgiveness until you follow the law and separate my FFEL Joint Spousal Consolidated Loans? U r preventing me from qualifying, not GOP, not SCOTUS, not congress, YOU! So help us & make this a priority.

@SecCardona @usedgov I sure don’t feel respected. DoE dropped my JCSL in 2016 and now after 20+ years in public service still waiting for DoE to follow the law to separate JCSLs before my PSLF can even be processed.

@SecCardona @usedgov “We value teachers”…Unless their federally approved bank advised them into a spousal consolidation plan. We’ve paid far more than we ever borrowed, have never been in default, and still have a balance of 80k+ just a few years before retirement. Both 20 yrs public school teachers

@SecCardona @usedgov 23 year educators who can’t access the PSLF…..the law has given us an opportunity to separate our joint consolidation loans. The law has been in place for nearly two months….please help us out!

43 Republican Senators with UNLIMITED paid sick leave voted against providing rail workers just SEVEN days off to care for themselves or loved ones. The hypocrisy is astounding.

@SecCardona HELLO! Have you forget about the 776 teachers, nurses and firefighters with FFEL Spousal Consolidation Loans? @POTUS signed the Joint Consolidated Loan Separation Act on Oct 11. It's law of the land. Implement it, or avoid the administrative nightmare and just cancel them.

#CancelStudentDebt team do you know if this is true? Could this be why we have been herded like lambs to the slaughter to take on these loans without any way out?

Senators who have unlimited sick days and make $174,000 TAXPAYER dollars per year had the nerve to vote against giving rail workers 7 sick days.

@SecCardona Before PSLF can be even looked at DoE has to follow the law to separate JCSLs even w 20+ years service. In the meantime I’m told to wait and required to continue pay unti DoE does there job, because there’s no payment pause for JCSL. @SC_DoUsPart

Alex Jones just filed for personal bankruptcy to get relief from the billion dollars he owes Sandy Hook victims. Reminder that virtually no one is allowed to do that with student loan debt.

@SecCardona @SenWarren The Joint Consolidation Loan Separation Act to separate from abusers & regain federal protections was signed a month ago & interest accrues daily but @SecCardona has done nothing to implement, offered no pause, nor a path to separation. @SC_DoUsPart
