Don’t listen to this total BS advice. Double down on vibe coding even if you have no clue what you’re doing. Ask AI to teach you basics or if you get stuck. This is the point of the age of AI: anyone with agency & curiosity can quickly catch up & outperform experts in no time!

Vibe coding is for experienced software devs. Do not vibe code until you really know how to do the basic stuff.

> the format that hit $1.48 CPI
> how to write content like you're texting a groupchat (and why it converts)

Cal AI has been acquired by MyFitnessPal 🚨
Henry and I started Cal AI as 17-year old high school students with one mission: make calorie tracking easier with AI.
In just 18 months, we’ve helped millions of people lose millions of pounds. And we broke $50m in ARR along the way.
We are at an incredible inflection point in history where ANYBODY can build a product that can improve lives and make millions.
As founders, we get a lot of praise. The truth is that this would not have been possible without our incredible 30+ person team. We are so proud of what this team has accomplished, and are thankful to everyone that has been instrumental in Cal AI’s development and success.
Cal AI will continue as a separate app from MyFitnessPal. The combined team will share resources to continue helping people achieve their fitness goals!

@david_attisaas real shit. that's why i'm going all in on training up my own distribution networks cuz it's already THE deciding factor
wayyy too important to just hand off to an agency and hope for the best. independence = key
it's only gonna get more unavoidable in the coming months.
English

no pressure but when your 5 years old cousin will be able to one-shot prompt an app like cal ai or quittr
why would any marketer would want to work with you?
the marketer already owns the distribution and soon the technical side
for now ai sucks for any non-technical people to build a decent good-looking and useful app
I'm confident this is going to change
your window of opportunity is right now because you're extremely needed right now
don't let this opportunity falling through the cracks or you'll punch yourself and your future kids will punch yourself for missing this gold rush

@vincentschnabl All of them are awesome, but the snowboarder is legitimately breathtaking.
Can't believe it's a real photo. Mad stuff dude

I Left my job and life in the uk.
I’m betting on myself.
2026 is the year to build my business with my best friends, shipping, and experiences with new people.
I’m going to post and document everything through my videos on X.
@robj3d3 and @levelsio, thanks for the motivation to push myself out of my comfort zone.
It’s going to be lit!

@andi_losing Think it depends on how unique the idea vs how strong your moat.
If it’s a high potential, unique idea with a low barrier to replicate… building in public would do way more harm than good
English

Should I build mobile apps in public?
I’m building my first app right now.
Not sure if sharing the actual app on X is a good idea.
Many successful builders don’t post their apps here at all.
Some even say it can hurt more than it helps.
My users won’t come from X anyway.
What do you think?
Build in public with the app name or build in public, but keep the product private?

Lately I’ve been thinking about how much noise there is in startup metrics. Everyone’s tracking everything - yet no one really knows what’s actually driving growth. It's hard to see the full picture.. So I’m building something to fix that. Meet Oculis - a tool to help you see what really moves the needle, without the fluff. Pre-alpha this autumn. I’ll be looking for a few early testers soon 👀
