@SavchenkoReview The US is critically dependent on EU airbases, navy harbours, cars, pharmaceuticals, ASML, chemicals, manufacturing machines, electronics and luxury goods. A serious conflict with Europe, will cause an irreparable economic gap of US to China and will end the US as a superpower.

@smc429 @SecretaryBurgum We don’t hate you, but we despise those who deny the facts, those who are just very greedy, but especially the cowards who stay silent and look the other way. Where are the brave Americans who liberated Europe? Even the French hanged their greedy noblemen.

@RonFilipkowski Oh, much earlier than that. Some Catholics were especially afraid of the heavy plough (carruca) as a new invention in the Middle Ages. It provided the means to produce more than you could eat. So, we got cities, specialised jobs, universities and heretics.

@TWMCLtd This is “keeping up appearances” by the Russians. They bleed internally, but do not want to show the pain until the bitter end. The bluff of the machos. This will end like Hitlers bunker, now in Moskou. The good news is, they will not be a threat for many years to come.

Russia could have built 3 hospitals for the cost of yesterday's attack on Kyiv. Over 100 people in the city and region were injured and 4 people died. Military experts say the missiles and drones used cost almost $400m, while Putin slashed the state health budget back home.

Hello again. Day 1552. A holiday in many countries "Whit Monday" in most, Spring holiday in others (inc UK) and Memorial Day in the U.S But after 4 years and 3 months, memorials are still being made in Ukraine because our leaders, collectively, let them down. Here's the daily🧵

HOLY CRAP Trump actually accomplished a miracle. Here is what he got out of Iran: - Reduce its stockpile of enriched uranium by about 98% - Limit uranium enrichment to 3.67% purity (far below weapons-grade) - Cut the number of installed centrifuges by roughly two-thirds - Only enrich uranium at one declared site (Natanz) - Stop enrichment activities at Fordow and convert it into a research facility - Redesign the Arak heavy-water reactor so it could not easily produce weapons-grade plutonium - Ship out or dilute excess enriched uranium Allow extensive inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Permit continuous monitoring of nuclear facilities and supply chains - Accept “snap” inspections under expanded monitoring rules - Avoid building new heavy-water reactors for years - Stay within strict limits on uranium stockpile size and centrifuge development for set periods ranging from 10–25 years Ooops, sorry! That was the JCPOA that Obama signed with Iran, only to have him tear it up, kill 140 kids, get hundreds of Americans injured, 13 killed, and gas prices to surge 50%.

@Feyenoord Bedankt DTK!!!!

The U.S. blew nearly $500M rescuing a single pilot — losing two C‑130s and two helicopters just to avoid another capture. So be honest: was half a billion dollars for one life a strategic choice… or a catastrophic failure?"

@GasBuddyGuy @DecodingFoxNews That is probably because the greedy Trumpers like to sell the oil at the current high prices, instead of saving it for a rainy day of the people. Life is all about priorities.

@ChrisRMcGuire @highbrow_nobrow You can easily deduct from this, that weapon deliveries to Ukraine are also a negotioting chip for Trump. But this is even more dangerous, because Trump only wants personal gains from Russia in return. With China, the gains will be more distributed to companies.

The administration needs to clarify this extremely damaging statement by the President right away. US policy has long been that we do not negotiate Taiwan arms sales with China. The administration cannot simultaneously claim that there has been no change to US policy over Taiwan, and that weapons sales to Taiwan are now a negotiating chip in discussions with China. Every single Democrat and Republican on Capitol Hill should press the White House on what the President meant by this, and urge them to finalize the sales. If President Biden had ever said this, Congressional Republicans would have lost their minds. I hope they’re making their voice heard now too.
HOT SPOT@HotSpotHotSpot

🇺🇸🇨🇳🇹🇼 Fox's Bret Baier: “President Xi probably liked that you haven't approved the weapons for Taiwan?” Trump: “I would say ‘like’ is too strong of a word... It's a very good negotiating chip for us, frankly”

@RonFilipkowski What is really important here is that there are credible theories that all superpowers last about 100 years from 1200 on or so. US time is up now, BUT: the last transition of power was between the British and the US and that went very well, because they were friends in WW1.

Trump must have just learned that when Xi Jinping invoked the Thucydides Trap to his face, he was essentially calling the United States a nation in decline. Now, Trump is trying to spin it, claiming that Xi must have been talking about Biden. Really humiliating stuff.

NEW: President Trump says China’s leader was right about America’s decline under President Biden — but argues the U.S. has completely rebounded under his administration. In a lengthy post, Trump touted booming markets, record investment, the "ending" of DEI, and what he called the “strongest military on earth by far,” while predicting a stronger relationship with China moving forward.

BREAKING: Trump melts down in China after Xi Jinping insulted the United States — and Trump was too stupid to realize it in the moment. It looks like he got back to his hotel, someone explained it to him, and he promptly threw his phone against the wall... "When President Xi very elegantly referred to the United States as perhaps being a declining nation, he was referring to the tremendous damage we suffered during the four years of Sleepy Joe Biden and the Biden Administration, and on that score, he was 100% correct," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Our Country suffered immeasurably with open borders, high taxes, transgender for everybody, men in women’s sports, DEI, horrible trade deals, rampant crime, and so much more!" According to all available evidence, Xi did not actually refer to the United States as a "declining nation" during his face-to-face meeting with Trump. Rather, Xi said that the United States and China should strive to avoid falling into the “Thucydides Trap." The Thucydides Trap is a geopolitical concept coined by political scientist Graham Allison that refers to the historical truism that a declining hegemonic power often comes into violent conflict with a rising power. It takes its name from the Greek historian Thucydides, whose historical account of the Peloponnesian War recounts how Athens and Sparta came to military blows because the latter feared the former's ascendancy. In this analysis, the United States represents Sparta and China represents Athens. So while Xi was perhaps not technically insulting America, he was implying that we are a waning empire. And looking at the demented sex offender leading us, who could argue otherwise? "President Xi was not referring to the incredible rise that the United States has displayed to the world during the 16 spectacular months of the Trump Administration, which includes all-time high stock markets and 401K’s, military victory and thriving relationship in Venezuela, the military decimation of Iran (to be continued!) — Strongest military on earth by far, economic powerhouse again, with a record 18 trillion dollars being invested into the United States by others, best U.S. job market in history, with more people working in the United States right now than ever before, ending country destroying DEI, and so many other things that it would be impossible to readily list," Trump continued. "In fact, President Xi congratulated me on so many tremendous successes in such a short period of time." "Two years ago, we were, in fact, a Nation in decline. On that, I fully agree with President Xi! But now, the United States is the hottest Nation anywhere in the world, and hopefully our relationship with China will be stronger and better than ever before!" he concluded. Obviously, Xi was not referring to the Biden administration. He wasn't referring to a specific administration at all. He was referring to a broader, century-defining trend but of course Trump is too petty, small-minded, and ignorant to contextualize events within a larger historical scope. He is an id-driven animal who is fixated on immediate gratification and ego. The Chinese are strategizing the best ways to shape their relationship with the United States to benefit their people and position them as the world's dominant superpower. Trump is sitting cooped up in his hotel raging about a partisan political rival. What's more, if Xi were to compare Trump and Biden, he would invariably have to conclude that the latter was a far stronger leader. Trump has devastated and hobbled America by slashing our scientific and medical research, crushing the work class, undermining our military alliances with Europe, and starting a war with Iran that — despite what he wants us to believe — he's losing. Above all else, Trump is a gift to America's adversaries. To put this in even simpler terms, China is building high-speed rails and glittering cities of neon and glass. The United States is wasting $1 billion on a ballroom for pedophiles to gather inside. We deserve better. Please ❤️ and share if you miss Obama and Biden!
