@coach_tack @travisWSN Edgar will be playing Marquette Academy (IL) at Deforest to fill the opening in their schedule caused by Rosholt not playing 11 man. Was very difficult to find opponent. What will the playoff implications be is an interesting question.

@travisWSN On our state champ fb team this year our best player was the best 8 year old…but the development of all those around him was the key. My son was 4’9” and 85 pounds as a 7th grader. All-State HM as a senior and WFCA All-Star.

This has been my biggest struggle in dealing w/ youth sports for my own kids. Too much emphasis on crowning the "best" players as soon as possible (and winning as many games/tournaments as possible) & not enough on supporting all players so they can develop on their own timetable

We are mildly considering running the ball this year instead of passing it 98% of the time... so looking for some play action passes incase we decide to get really tricky I'm looking for some play action concepts--- post your best one.

@coach_tack @TYash42 @SpaffySays22 We are a school of 200. We had 12 coaches this season. 9 played college football at some level for some amount of time, one with a leather helmet potentially. Fortunate for a small school to have this.

I coach in a rural setting in NW Wisconsin at a school of about 500. We have 11 coaches, 7 played college football and I trust all 11 with having great depth, love and knowledge of the game. Honestly we are blessed as a program to have the guys we have to lead our teams!

With the 2023 football season officially over, I have come to realize that I fallen behind on some things: 1. My car is full of garbage and old practice plans 2. Apparently the NFL season is 2/3rds complete 3. I have 4 months of COD updates to go through
