@DamianWhite42 @4ptsmoveonjob @slrflwnrg @docklandsnate Some people just need to repeat this line .. “Never as bad as it seems and never as good as it looks” and often ! We are Collingwood 🖤🤍🖤 We bounce back quick when we get it right .. I have faith in the draftees - but they’ll take time & need nurturing 😉

Self-loathing Victorian Premier Jacinta Allen tells a stadium full of Indian immigrants that there is no such thing as Australian culture, so there’s no need for them to even bother assimilating with the locals. And the Indians go crazy!

@RonRodgers319 @Macetrott Making up the numbers ? … true 👍🏻 but very competitive with far more positives than negatives which bodes well for maintaining a high performance and winning culture in future seasons😉

What horrible timeline are we living in….. An Indian politician, welcoming Indians in the stadium to our own country and inferring this is stolen land with the aboriginal format, as he pushes to flood us with yet more unwanted Indian migrants. Never forget these Labor traitors. Selling out their own people to the highest bidder.

@Mattlevy74 @IncrediblyBozza Is there any evidence of this 🧐 … or just a nonsensical rant .. the latter isn’t it 💁🏻‍♂️ Averaging 1.4 free kicks a game 🤨 A ball player held/infringed at every contest plus buffeted & bumped at every opportunity in general play like all the guns ! You need SpecSavers 🙄

Couldn’t care less about Albo on the podcast, but it’s his years and years of smearing opponents as misogynistic that has led to this reaction. Labor win elections through so many blatant lies. I’ve just woken up to this. They had sucked me in forever.
EVERALD COMPTON@EVERALDATLARGE

Criticism of @AlboMP podcast mistake is over the top. Entered into spirit of jocular chat & forgot he was on air & not at pub. Apology was sincere. Albo haters are unforgiving people who never sin. Ballistics & explosive podcast steal #Albanese thunder thesaturdaypaper.com.au/comment/politi…

It’s preposterous. The average Australian citizen now needs a team of accountants and experts just to navigate the regulatory maze its Parliaments have created. Multiply that across dozens of regulatory bodies and you get a system that will trap the unwary. Decades of politicians have created an overly complex, overly regulated society where obeying the law feels almost impossible for normal people. This isn’t freedom, it’s control.

I will stand to be corrected on this but, I cannot recall a single time in 39 years where the Macedonians that live in Australia ever gathered in the tens of thousands to cheer on a visiting diplomat, president or prime minister of Macedonia. Never ever have I seen that. The same goes for Greeks, Serbs, Italians etc. This is not normal, and I have to ask who paid for all this. Did the people of Victoria foot the bill for this gathering? The optics are mental on this.

🚨 HOLY SMOKES. Nick Shirley and David walked into a Somali "transportation company" in Minneapolis, which gets MILLIONS from the state, and the Somali man ERUPTS inside It just so happens this "transportation" company is located at a MONEY WIRING BUSINESS! These transportation companies are central to the whole scheme "THERE'S NO! We DON'T KNOW! Don't record!" NICK: "This is fraud. This is supposed to be Safari Transportation!" DAVID: "Safari Transportation, State of Minnesota. *Holding papers* It's registered here NOW!" There is fraud going on that the state has NOT found out about.

The GG has Reserve Powers: Acting as an independent check in exceptional circumstances, such as appointing a PM if an election yields no clear majority or dismissing a Prime Minister who has lost the confidence of the House of Representatives. The HoR are elected by us - the PM has LOST our confidence. The GG has a FB/Insta/UT a/cs but is too weak to come on X to debate the issues with 'we the people'!

It makes you want to weep for Australia. Here we have Tasmania’s largest farm — Rushy Lagoon, a massive 22,000-hectare of prime, productive, irrigated land that has been a powerhouse of beef and dairy production in northeast Tasmania for decades. And now it’s being deliberately shut down for dodgy “carbon credits” — worthless pieces of paper peddled by grifters, spivs, and rent-seeking parasites in the name of Net Zero so they can profit while the nation suffers. Just when you think it can’t get any worse — congratulations, Australia — our taxpayers are being forced to fund this insanity with $69 million. That’s right. Chris Bowen’s Clean Energy Finance Corporation is pumping $69 million of our money into the deal to become a minor shareholder in the destruction of productive farmland. Think about the level of this insanity. $69 million of Australian taxpayers money is being used to help a foreign company buy Australian farmland and shut it down. It’s no different from Luddites buying a factory and smashing the productive machines with sledge hammers. At this is happening the exact moment Australia’s productivity is collapsing and living standards are in freefall, Labor’s priority is closing down real, productive agriculture. This is economic sabotage. With this decision today, Australia is a poorer, weaker nation. Productive land is taken out of commission, food production is hit - so we’ll pay higher prices at supermarket and taxpayers foot the bill so the carbon credit scam industry can flourish. I weep for what Labor and Anthony Albanese are doing to Australia. They are vandalising our productive economy, enriching their mates, and driving us into decline — all while lying that this is “progress.” Enough. Australia deserves better than this destructive, ideologically deranged government. If they are not voted out at the next election, the Australia we‘ve known and loved will be gone forever. #comments" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">theaustralian.com.au/nation/chalmer…

Open letter to Victorian premier Jacinta Allan: Dear Jacinta. How does it feel knowing the walls are closing in ? This afternoon you have been formally referred to Victoria’s anti-corruption watchdog. Over serious allegations involving directions from your office to builders - compelling them to cut deals with the CFMEU, and a union-linked labour hire company already under police scrutiny. At the same time, we watched as you delivered an apology for what are now clearly systemic corruption concerns inside the $100 billion Big Build program. You have steadfastly refused calls for a royal commission. Why ? Because you know full well this would open up the entire system to proper forensic scrutiny. You cannot escape what it coming. The personal accountability. The political toxicity. On the one hand you acknowledge disorder, but on the other you remain the key block against the one mechanism capable of fully exposing it. I pose a direct question to your own ranks, and to your ministers and backbench - How long can your Labor party colleagues continue to treat this as a ‘minor’ controversy, instead of the seismic governance failure it truly is? If a Premier can simultaneously apologise for corruption - while also resisting a full and independent examination, then the issue is no longer about just individual allegations. It becomes about whether our government is actively trying to HIDE the truth, and manage its exposure. Premier, you are no longer under pressure from opponents only. You are a massive liability to your own side and past the point of no return. It’s time to resign. Credit for this article Domenic Strangio.

Commentators calling Maynard getting 4 weeks for umpire contact. Firstly he looks like he was being pushed from behind and had his hand out and secondly why on earth is an umpire anywhere near that action. Stay 10 metres out and let them go. Watch AFL make an overboard example of this incident.
