There’s a complete lack of loyalty. I think Keir Starmer should stay. I think there shouldn't be a leadership contest. And I back Keir Starmer to finish the job that he started, deliver the manifesto that he got elected on. Yes, things have been tough. Yes, he's made mistakes. @SturdySteve24 @JeremyVineOn5 "Paid in" if they had the national debt wouldn't be this high. It's a lie someone is telling themselves. Pensioners got the NHS, free University, cheaper housing, most of them no wars to fight in... They been taking out, not paying in, and still are.

Is the benefits system too generous? JCB chairman Lord Bamford has warned Britain "can’t get away" with people receiving up to £60,000 a year in benefits, saying soaring welfare costs risk a public ‘revolt’. Is he right? Is the benefits system out of control?

@carl_stein_ @JeremyVineOn5 You can do one matey, folk have paid in all their lives and deserve to get pension! We have the worst pension in the EU and it should not be cut, the pension should equal a living wage minimum, otherwise pensioners end up in the heating or eating quandary and health gets worse.

The big one is state pension. One way to lower that bill is taper it so say a household income is capped at 40K so instead of 2 people with private pensions and a household income of say 20K each don't get state pension as they don't need it. Universal Credit is the next one and most people on it are working so it's a wage issue. Next biggest is PiP so of course assessment and getting NHS to fix people so they can work (more) is key.
