Watch this reaction by Carney this morning being asked if the US alcohol ban might be doing more harm than good when it comes to trade negotiations. He once again brings up our relationship is over and nostalgia nonsense. This guy couldn’t care less about the millions of people relying on trade with the largest economy in the world. He is clearly sabotaging it. Canadians better wake up.

@PrairieVeteran This guy comes prepared to never truthfully answer a question. He loves using his word salad replies to say absolutely nothing ad nauseum; and thinks he is so intelligent and above everyone else. He’s a snake oil salesman. Wake up Liberal sheeple!

@sarobertsonca Are you kidding me Scott? Yikes! You are a bigger Carney apologist than David Cochrane at CBC! Lol! All your posts prove this. It’s hilarious. To repeat the lie that he thinks about Canadians at all is ridiculous.

CARNEY: "I do not get up first thing in the morning and think about the United States. I think about Canadians ... Our destiny is first and foremost going to be determined by what we do here. Canadians get that. I'm not sure everyone south of the border understands that."

Last year they wouldn’t shut up: “Boycott America! Buy Canadian only! Cancel your US vacations! Go full elbows-up and treat the US like the enemy!” Meanwhile Mark Carney and his family were living their best American dream. His wife lives and works full-time in the US. Half his kids live there. All of them studied at Harvard and Yale. Carney himself is a Harvard grad — the FIRST Prime Minister in Canadian history who never attended a Canadian university. His multimillion-dollar portfolio? 91% in American companies. He owns a home in the US. He even helped move Brookfield’s headquarters from Toronto to New York. And don’t forget Justin Trudeau partying at Coachella with Katy Perry like the rules he preached never applied to him. This is shameless, disgusting two-tiered hypocrisy. The elites get the US degrees, the US money, the US homes, and the US parties. The rest of us get the lectures and the sacrifices. I’m sick of it. Drop your thoughts below — how much longer are we supposed to tolerate this fraud? 🇨🇦 #cdnpoli #Carney #LiberalHypocrisy #CanadaFirst

Despite funding the CBC to the tune of $1.5 billion, the Prime Minister chose to give his state-of-the-union address on an American tech platform instead of Canada’s public broadcaster. At the same time, his entire speech was about making sure canada doesn’t sell out to America. The hypocrisy couldn’t be more clear. Is it because CBC’s viewership is dwindling? #CBC #cdnpoli

🚨CBC COVERING FOR CARNEY🚨 CBC has been pushing the claim that Trump requires an “entry fee” to start negotiations. While media drove outrage, the real story is this: Carney & Trudeau violated CUSMA… and Canadians weren’t told the full picture.

We have already reached the point in QP where the Liberals like to boast that they take "no lessons from anyone". I think to most that is quite obvious. Liberals do not take lessons nor do they learn from their mistakes. Precisely because of this attitude of Liberal arrogance.

The Liberals are paying $200 million for a concrete pad for a proposed spaceport launch site in Nova Scotia and calling it infrastructure. Canadians deserve full transparency: who approved this, what exactly are we paying for, and who benefits?

WATCH Poilievre condemns "identity-based" government programs, arguing they divide Canadians. "We need to start treating every Canadian as an individual, not judging them based on race, ethnicity, or gender… but based on their hard work, decency, and patriotism."

Joly was in Oslo Norway recently. Here she is discussing how Canada is now following Carney’s Davos speech plan. They are aligning with Countries like Germany and Norway because they are all in on CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) these ghouls have invented a money making scam which Mark Carney has been actively involved in proposing and advocating for in Canada as part of his "Made-in-Canada Competitiveness Strategy" and his broader climate-finance platform. Now you know why they don’t want to trade with the U.S. They can’t line their pockets with a scam carbon tax from them. People need to stop thinking Carney is a “good guy” he is a money hungry central banker who was installed to clean out the pockets of Canadians.

Stephen Maher’s “Poilievre is lying” line is doing a lot of heavy lifting for a post that refuses to deal with what Mark Carney has actually been saying. Carney has repeatedly framed the moment as a “rupture” in the world order, not a normal transition. In his Davos speech, he said Canada is facing “the end of a pleasant fiction” and a harsh new reality of great-power politics. That is not some casual throwaway line. That is a major foreign-policy frame. So Pierre Poilievre asking what “rupture” means in practical terms is not lying. It is exactly what an opposition leader is supposed to do. Does it affect CUSMA? Does it affect trade with the U.S.? Does it affect energy, autos, agriculture, defence, supply chains, border policy, and jobs? That is not desperation. That is accountability. The media trick here is obvious. Carney uses dramatic language, gets praised as serious and visionary. Poilievre asks what the dramatic language actually means, and suddenly that is “lying.” No. Spare us. Canada’s relationship with the U.S. is not a slogan board for Davos applause. It is our largest trade relationship and central to millions of Canadian jobs. If Carney wants to talk about rupture, then Canadians deserve to know what he intends to rupture, what he intends to preserve, and what ordinary people will pay for the performance. Maher can sneer all he wants. Pierre asked the obvious question. Carney should answer it.

Bruce thinks “desperation” means asking the obvious follow-up question. That is not desperation. That is politics with the training wheels off. If Mark Carney talks about a “rupture” with the United States, then Pierre Poilievre is completely right to ask what that actually means. Does it mean trade? Security? Energy? CUSMA? Supply chains? Border policy? Defence procurement? Or is “rupture” just another shiny consultant word tossed into the air so the press gallery can clap like trained seals? This is the old trick: Liberals use dramatic language, Conservatives ask for specifics, and media types call the question “desperation.” No. The desperate move is pretending vague rhetoric is a plan. Canada’s relationship with the U.S. is not a campus seminar. It is our largest trade relationship, our continental defence partnership, our energy market, and the backbone of millions of jobs. You do not casually talk about a “rupture” unless you are prepared to explain the consequences. So Bruce can sneer all he wants. Pierre asked the question any serious opposition leader should ask: What does Carney actually mean, and what will it cost Canadians?
