@thekaipullai Now I understand why I am getting so many unnecessary spam calls.

Based on the responses to my question "What does Cred Actually Do?" I had an interaction with my logical self. Here's how it went
How does Cred actually make money?
Well it offers a slick app with which you can make payment for your credit cards.
But I can pay directly to my credit card guys? Why Do I need Cred?
No but offers an efficient method to pay your credit cards.
So do they charge some money for it? If they do, why would I pay extra to make a payment which I can do it otherwise for free?
No they don't charge you any money to make payment. In fact they even give you points to make payment via cred.
So how does Cred Make money in all of this? Sounds like they are paying for me to make payment.
But they have your data.
So do they sell my data? Isn't that a privacy concern?
No It isn't. they sell it securely.
Ok, ignoring the obvious gross privacy violations and other malpractices, other question is, the data that cred has, the credit card company also has. Why can't data buyers get it directly from source? I am sure it will be cheaper.
But Cred has better data. Cibil 999 and above only. And an amazing app. You know they spent 19000 hours to generate the perfect image of a credit card.
It still doesn't answer my question on how they make money if all they are doing is selling data. It is still data. And how much money can you make by actually selling data? Can you become a 50,000 cr company just by selling data. If so, the credit card companies that actually give them this data, should be valued much higher na?
Cred also gives loans.
Oh!! So Credit is like a bank. They lend money and collect interest? Now it makes sense.
No no. They don't give loans on their own. They are a platform that facilitates loans by linking customers and loan providers.
So why can't the loan providers give loans directly to the people? Why do they need Cred?
Because Cred has an amazing app.
So Cred is a glorified loan broker?
No no, it is a multi platform, omnipresent, new age, fintech advisor and multi service provider.
Basically broker.
They also have Cred Garage now.
Oh, they have opened car service garages? Is it multibrand? Which brand of cars can be serviced there? That is a good business.
No no, Cred Garage is also an app. It helps you make insurance and challan payments.
Again, why would I pay my insurance thru cred? Can't I pay directly? For free. Same with Challans too. Why Do I need Cred?
You see they have spent 24000 hours to make the images on their app 1% less pixelated.
But how does this help them make money?
They also have curated experiences. You can book your dream luxury package thru Cred.
So they are travel agents. Do they design this luxury package?
No they act as a platform between luxury tour operators and customers, to facilitate their next amazing luxury travel holiday abroad with ....
Ok Stop right there. From what you have told me, Cred is basically a broker for loans, insurance and "curated goods", who doesn't charge anything to you, sells your data and gives you some points which you have never told me where it can be used?
They make very creative ads though. You saw the Rahul Dravid Ad?
So their only stable source of revenue today is from Youtube?
No no, the are an omnipresent high tech fintech platform for privileged customers with conscientiousness
But how do they make money?

@PhonePe @_sameernigam Not gonna make any difference now... I am not going to install it back

Our CEO and Founder @_sameernigam, has issued a personal statement clarifying his views on the Karnataka draft job reservation bill. Read the full statement below.
Personal Statement from Sameer Nigam - CEO & Founder of PhonePe
PhonePe was born in Bengaluru and we are incredibly proud of our roots in this city, which is well known for its world-class technology talent and vibrant diversity. From Bengaluru, over the past decade we have expanded across the length and breadth of India and been able to deliver secure and efficient digital payments for over 55 Crore Indians.
Bengaluru's reputation as the "Silicon valley of India" is truly well-deserved. The city thrives on an incredible culture of innovation, and attracts the most brilliant young minds from Karnataka and the rest of India. As a company, we are deeply grateful for the supportive business environment that Karnataka’s governments and its local Kannadiga populace have offered us. Without such an inclusive ecosystem and progressive policies, Bengaluru would not have become a global technology superpower.
As a company we also thrive on celebrating diversity, we have always tried hard to deliver fair, unbiased and meritocracy-based employment opportunities for all Indians - including to all local Kannadigas. We believe such an approach gives every Indian a good job a chance to shine, and ultimately helps create more societal and economic value for Bengaluru, Karnataka and India.
I read some recent media articles, relating to a few personal comments that I made last week regarding the draft job reservation bill. I would first and foremost like to clarify that it was NEVER my intention to insult Karnataka and it’s people. If my comments hurt anyone’s sentiments in such a way, I am truly sorry and would like to offer you an unconditional apology. I have the highest regard for Kannada, and all other Indian languages. In fact, I truly believe that linguistic diversity and rich cultural heritage is a national asset that all Indians should be proud of; and all Indians should be respectful of and celebrate local and cultural norms.
Bengaluru’s Indian startups are competing against trillion dollar giants like Google, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft. To do so, these companies must be able to employ the very best talent available in India purely based on their technology skills and proficiency in fields such as Coding, Design, Product Management, Data Sciences, Machine Learning, AI and beyond. As a nation, that is the only way we can build world-class companies that can compete in the global village that we live in today.
I also want to help create lakhs of jobs for Bengaluru and Karnataka. And, I believe with more dialogue and discussion, we can find ways to create more sustainable employment avenues. Let’s all work together to do this meaningfully and while creating long-term impact.

@qedkorc @sannu1981 @aravindkumarsd @KartiPC @deepigoyal If the customer wants his food to be delivered safely without any thing being done (there are examples) that is his choice and if someone is offering to do it. Why others try to poke their nose
English

@sannu1981 @aravindkumarsd @KartiPC @deepigoyal the problem is not veg-only food, the problem is veg-only fleet. if they said halal-only fleet (and discriminated from people getting delivery jobs on that basis) that could* also be a problem, but i see that nowhere
(*in a country where halal eaters are the powerful majority)
English

@qedkorc @aravindkumarsd @KartiPC @deepigoyal How come it is discrimination when ppl wants veg only food for purity reason from any company and co provides

A Hindu shopkeeper who was playing bhajans at his shop was assaulted by anti social elements saying bhajans aren’t allowed during time of ‘azaan’.
The emboldening of such elements is a direct result of Congress’s appeasement politics. Just a few days back, people who shouted Pakistan Zindabad were given bail.
With such political backing available to Jihadis, naturally such incidents of crime against Hindus have risen in our State.
CM must stop setting wrong precedents. I call upon him to update the State on what action is initiated against the miscreants on this case.
