WORKING FROM HOME ARGUMENT I honestly can’t see the justification for making people return to the office if you are not customer facing/ front line staff You want people to pay excessive amounts on travel, waste hours travelling for what ? To sit next to you while you say 4 words all day. For those who don’t do their work, monitor them and tell them they have to attend the office 4 days a week for a PIP and you’ll see how quickly they’ll improve…. but if someone’s is hitting targets and doing their work, while making it easier to be a better mother or father or carer to elderly parents, by being present doing the school run, attending after school activities on time and getting a home cooked meal prepared for their family why stop that ??

Guy recovered a lost 5 BTC wallet from 11+ years ago because Claude AI helped him find the correct wallet.dat buried in old college computer files. He originally locked himself out after changing the password while stoned 😭 Spent years trying trillions of password combinations and paying for recovery attempts. Then Claude apparently discovered a bug in btcrecover where the sharedKey + password were being concatenated incorrectly. AI helped decrypt the wallet, output the private keys, and confirmed the funds were still there. 5 BTC. After 11 years. We are entering absurd territory with AI.

Weird take, but... Flirting is the most underrated skill and nobody will say it out loud because it sounds gross. It's not sexual. It's the ability to disarm a stranger in 4 seconds. I flirt with toddlers. Contractors. The 80 year old at Publix. The woman at the permit desk who can make my life hell. It's not weird. It's not promiscuous. It's rapport. And a lot of you need to learn how to do it.

Last year, I ran into a former substitute teacher who used to sub at our school all the time. They were excellent at what they did. They told me they stopped subbing because of the constant disrespect from students…often with little to no consequences. Serious question: Why do so many schools allow students to disrespect substitutes with no accountability? And then districts wonder why it’s becoming so hard to find subs.
