Would also love to see one or both of Zac Fisher & Logue paid out early and delisted (both contracted to end of ‘27) I have a feeling Daniel is contracted to end of ‘28 though 😔

@theindextracker This number of senior players that make more decisions and fail to execute is exhausting. You can forgive a kid but for lacking confidence and experience but Scott, Daniel, Logue etc. suck the energy out of the side. Time to move on

I’d be stunned if Bailey Scott gets a contract for next year. His form has fallen off the cliff, unfortunately. Missing from 2m pretty much sums him up nowadays.

@Ben_Dalla_Riva @MultiCamSitcom style game, that limits turnovers and oppo scoring from them. As we progress to a faster ball transition relying on run and pin point kicking and handball, Daniel will get phased out. But for now he’s lucky that our style of back half game suits him (chip, mark, chip, mark)

My original theory is (and could very well be wrong!) is Daniel is there for now because it suits our slower, possession

Hardwick’s torp had me thinking about our lack of kick-in imagination. 9 out of 14 times we lost the ball. -3 direct t/o. -3 long to contest then t/o. -2 long to stoppage. -1 handball chain (leading to t/o - Colby Right Foot). It’s this stuff that worries me the most #kangas

@DebOConnor2034 @kangamerchant Separate to this though I have always thought we would be super aggressive this trade period. Is just that time of the rebuild and history shows we tried hard for Houston & Curnow recently. Our 1st this year and next year’s 1st will be on the table imo

@SuperWolf_AFL @Ben_Dalla_Riva There’s no reason for Daniel to be taking kick outs now, he has no penetration with his kicking and even if he does his favourite, stat padding, give-and-go the ball is still barely outside the defensive 50. As for Hardeman the coach has to play him before he can take kick outs.

@MultiCamSitcom The 5 others; 2 short retained (chained to wing then turnover). 3 short retained, able to transition to F50 (& it was only one expansive play from Corr that was kick out related). When I rewatched, I actually felt like Corr was the most reliable and damaging 👀

@kangamerchant In: LMac, Hardeman, Grippo Out: Goater (rested), Scott, Darling (rested) 5 day break will cause a few changes. Assume Dawson in danger of losing his spot too as English rucks majority by himself. Powell or Harvey for him.

@tomfen26 @theindextracker Each to their own King but while I am always shattered at final siren, a few hours later I’m pumped how competitive we are, even against top sides (save for Crows & Freo games). I’m enjoying it so much more this year.

@theindextracker Not close to equally demoralising imo. In 12 months we have gone to easy beats, games being over by half time. To now expecting to be in every game of football we play. Need to take a scalp, however the improvement is clear , been in all but 2 games at 3QT.

In previous seasons, we were a team getting routinely belted, and incapable of winning games of footy. This year, we are a team that’s consistently competitive, and more capable of winning but too often falling short. Equally demoralising.

@Outwest111111 @NMFCOfficial Harsh. He just doesn’t haven’t the list & 23 decent players each week. I’m sure he’s made the odd selection mistake (I agree Bull out for Hardeman I would like yday) but he’s trying things. Next year I bet we’ll be more settled and you may said a big name like Bull dropped.

@NMFCOfficial When you play guys like Cam Zurhaar in defence at the expense of an actual defender and have guys in form wasting away in the VFL its no surprise. Just sack Clarkson already. He's past it and so is Viney.

She also claims some players doubt he’ll even be in charge next season. There’s talk of frustration among the assistants too — they feel their development’s being held back by Clarkson. #Kangas

Very disingenuous article @davidking34 Hawthorn had years of stability when Mitchell took over, including him having 3 years under Clarko as an assistant. North had Scott, Shaw, Noble, Adams, Clarkson & Ratten across 90 games. They were in very different positions in 2023

@TheTruthNMFC Clarko had a good chip at him in Thurs’ presser. Kingy was into Fagan hard before he won flags, likewise he was into Longmuir last year and years before that. Just cool your jets Kingy there is a lot more to play out of the Clarkson era at North.
