@myra__davis Do you think it’s a matter of less coaching staff having to take on more responsibilities, possibly overburdening them, because of budget shrink? Hypothetically let’s say specialist were volunteers for Tier 1/2 teams, do you think in that situation we’d see more teams using them?

For those still in the league scene, I was curious if draft specialists are something teams are interested in now with the implementation of fearless or if it’s not valued that much?

@mayyuki2108 GenG would probably be the one utilizing fearless the best. They have a lot of series where they are adapting their first set of bans and letting strong picks for their opponents through early to free up bans for later in the series

A friend recently got me back into watching pro league again after years avoiding it, and I swear that seeing these poor drafts and under utilization of the fearless format is about to force me out of retirement.

@karonmoser Agreed, I think a lot of teams before fearless struggled with core drafting concepts that were masked by a relatively static drafting meta and now those issues become more apparent as teams get into the game 4s and 5s of series with fearless.

If people credit Fearless with more 5 Game series, they should also credit it with more completely disappointing final games

@elton_mb Life’s been pretty great for me since taking a step back from league, but I still miss drafting a lot.

-finally, the first 3 bans in fearless are not bans they are protected picks a team can ensure make it to later drafts in a series, please some one actually use them this way. That’s it for me being an old man yelling at clouds, time to go back into my hole for another 3 years.

-Game 5 in fearless should be a culmination of groundwork laid in games 1-4. No team should ever be exhausted of picks by game 5 or “lose in draft”. If that’s what happens, it’s just a failure on proper drafting and planning.

@pcdv8r You don’t know the half of it. I work in a pharmacy and on a daily basis you’ll have people paying around $500 to $3000 just for a months worth of medication, and that’s even if insurance will cover it. Just wait until you have to deal with a prior authorization for a medication.

I try to focus as much as possible on League related topics on twitter. However, as a UK person, idea of paying over 350 dollars for (admittedly serious) ear infection medication + doctor fees + consultation fees WITH good insurance like I had to today is kind of fucked up.

@myra__davis @PrussianLoL This is pretty accurate in that it’s less telling more guiding. Something not talked often enough is that draft coaches need a solid understanding of the three metas: the general meta, your opponents meta and your teams meta and how you structure draft talk around them.

The most exciting part about watching @Verdant_gg since I had to leave is seeing how the roster changes each week. There is so much suspense and drama about it, they missed a real marketing opportunity to call these announcements “Days of our Verdant”

@_Beora @RiotPhreak @DaveyBuiks @forestwithout I think the differences, and correct me if I'm wrong, comes from this sim using DPS as the unit of measurement while I'm looking at a single instance of Q+W. I'll do a Damage Per Action graph of the builds tomorrow since its 4 am here, but DPS can sometimes be misleading in LoL

@Surza_LoL @RiotPhreak @DaveyBuiks @forestwithout This is a more advanced sim of your later game situation that you mention vs Ryze alone (A good middle ground of MR and a strong carry to target) I don't know if u are missing some things but the damage is just higher and you are also forgetting the util AS provides
