The unknown evidence of the Balibo 5 Murders. This is the evidence that the Australian Federal Police have been unable to find or the Western media is unwilling to look at. The Indonesian military attack on Balibo on the 16th of October 1975, was a part of a much larger military offensive conducted by the Indonesian Military under Operasi Flamboyan. Contrary to widespread belief, this operation was led by Brigadier General Chamid Suweno, the Commander of KOSGASGAB, rather than Colonel Dading Kalbuadi, who served as the Assistant of Intelligence within the KOSGASGAB command structure. Brig. Gen. Suweno issued Operational Order PRINOPS 05/1975, targeting several villages, including Balibo, Palaka, Nunura, Maliana, Memo, Lebos, and Bobonaro. Based on my research, the Australian government was fully aware of these plans. Australian Embassy Official Allan Taylor was informed of the operation by Indonesian intelligence officer Harry Tjan during a meeting on October 13, 1975. At this meeting, Taylor also disclosed the plans of Channel 9 News reporters Peters and Rennie to visit the border region and potentially cross into East Timor. After the Indonesian military captured Balibo, the Indonesian flag was raised above the old Portuguese fort in the village. At 7 a.m., Colonel Kalbuadi arrived at the site via a civilian-marked helicopter owned by Pelita Air Service, a subsidiary of the Indonesian government-owned oil company Pertamina. Upon his arrival, he was greeted by Captain Yunus Yosfiah. I find it concerning that, despite spending over five years and $650,000 on their investigation, the Australian Federal Police were unable to gather sufficient evidence to confirm the presence of Indonesian soldiers in Balibo or their control of the area. As an amateur researcher with no budget, I have uncovered more evidence than the official investigative team, which raises serious questions about the thoroughness of their efforts.

The helicopter that landed in Balibo on the 16th of October 1975 was a Pelita Air Service Helicopter, a Nurtanio Bolkow 105C, tail id PK-PGY. This helicptoer was the Indonesian made MBB Bo 105C This was one of six civillian helicopters used by the Indonesian Military during its attacks on East Timor from September to December 1975. Indonesian claims these helicopters were hired by pro Indonesian fighters and Indonesian military deserters. One of the Civilian helicopters was owned by Arizona Helicopters Inc. This company was hired ny the Central Intelligence Agency to flown as the rotorary airwing of Air America during the Vietnam war. These helicopters were used to attack villages. Indonesian Marine Captain Arthur Solang used to place hand grenades in glass jars, remove the pin and drop the jars out of the helicopter, to ensure grenades explpded on the ground. Colonel Agus Hernoto made I.E.Ds in old jerry cans, fuel and explosive charges, that could be dropped out of helicopters. The helicopters were also used to find targets for Indonesian naval, artillery and mortar fire. This was reported by ABC journalist Tony Maniaty and Ch 7 journalist Greg Shackleton

Can someone explain why most states of Australia, leave unsolved murders from the 1970s or earlier as active cold cases. There are 65 cold cases in Australia The Australian Federal Police @AusFedPolice give up after a few years, close the case and destroy the evidence they collected. #BALIBO5 #warcrimes

Greg Shackleton in Balibo, this is one of his last known interviews 3 days before his death, along with 4 other journalists Tony Stewart, Malcolm Rennie, Brian Peters, and Gary Cunningham. This has been covered up by the Australian and Indonesian governments for over 40 years, the details into what really happened should be known and any prosecution that can be made, should be made. ASIS documents need to be reviewed, our government has every power to do an inquiry into this IF it actually wanted to. Apparently revealing these documents could be a "threat to national security" umm why? 🤔 @SenatorWong @AlboMP don't you think it's about time? This is at least one good thing you could have on your resumes if you were to agree to an inquiry. @UN just a small reminder of some of your sordid history. Did you also know an attack was imminent? @UNWatch @ausgov @LiberalAus #Australia #Balibo #EastTimor #Indonesia #CoverUp #journalists #Balibo5

Or are the first pictures those of a more sinister photo shoot. Phots of the Journalists being posed and the photos taken by Djumaryo Imam Muhni of Berita Yudha Newspaper. Too many people saw this macabre photo shoot taking place on 16/10/1975 . Djumaryo is second from the right

#Balibo5. The Indonesians published these photos of the building where the Balibo 5 died. in the clearer picture one can clearly see that the walls do not match those of the other picture of the building they said the Journalists were found in.

@SusiTeamHunter I can only guess our government are not only ashamed of their actions, but also worried of the ramification should these documents finally be released. The Australian public should be demanding answers. Give these families some peace. 50 years too long to wait for the truth.

US Military Aid Program Equipment would be used to launch a naval bombardment a lightly defended Portuguese Timor village of Balibo over a number of days in October 1975. Australian made and newly supplied military radios would be used to direct the fire. #Balibo5 #WarCrimes
